Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
People, people, people! What I saw today in the BoRics on Tecumseh road, was ridiculous.
first off, id like to tell you customers out there, that when a place is swampt, you make a decision, you either listen to what the hair stylists told you, that it would be an hour wait, and you wait, or YOU LEAVE! I made the decision to wait for my haircut, since I chose to go on a day where I would have enough time to wait incase it was busy, while you people tried multiple times to rush these girls, complain about how the "staff" isn't calling anybody in, but then when they did, you complained to eachother that the staff member couldn't make it in. Maybe that staff member had something important to do, maybe she has kids and couldn't just drop them off somewhere to come in early! If you don't like waiting, GET UP AND LEAVE! Because I was sitting there for atleast 40 minutes and watched numerous amounts of people come in and decide they didn't want to wait, and chose to leave.
These girls were doing the best that they could to get everyone's hair done, and they were very accurate and clear as to how long the wait would be WITH EVERY CUSTOMER that came in. So next time you feel the need to wait for a haircut, and complain the entire time while waiting for it, when you know that it will be an hour wait, please wait and shut the hell up, otherwise, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
To the driver who hit my son yesterday by running a stop sign....
Witnesses aplenty, you ran the stop and knocked him ten feet in the street on his bike. He was on his way to get his police clearance to start a new job the next day.
Offering him $50? Injuries, damage to his only transportation, and insult to his youthful ignorance of the law... all he knew was he could walk, and had to get to the cop shop for that clearance to make that job to pay for his college in September.
Were you on your phone? Do you have kids? Do you realize how close you came to stealing my child from me? Do you feel like you got off lucky? You did, because if I were there, you wouldn't be sitting smug right now. Lucky he never thought to take your plate, name or anything else. He actually felt bad you were shaken.
Shame on you. I hope you see that moment for months to come in your sleep. I know he is.
About 2-2.5 weeks ago my mom was parked in the Goodlife parking lot at Tecumseh Mall. A black pickup truck (Ford, he was wearing an orange shirt) backed into her car and hit it and then drove off. I have taken screen shots of the guy from the security footage. If anyone knows of this, witnessed this or knows the person, please comment and let us know.
To the guy driving the light blue Toyota with the license plate A*** ***, you should be ashamed of your driving skills. You followed me for 20 mins on Hwy #3 and barely left any room between our cars. I could barely see your license plate cause you were riding my a## the whole time. If you don't remember the rules of the road, you should perhaps take drivers ed to refresh your memory. I had my 3 month old daughter in the car with me and was going the limit. You will cause an accident one day if you continue driving the way you do! Keep your distance from the car in front of you!
I know it's hot outside, but splash pads are for kids, not your dog. Bring your dog a drink.
Thumbs down to this driver who decided to block the entire exit of the parking lots for Windsor Regional Ouelette Campus. I get that you might have been in a rush, but the parking lot you blocked was only an extra 5 metres away & mostly empty. I guess you missed the no parking sign a few feet from your windshield. There was also plenty of parking out front of the emergency room and in the lot connected to the main entrance. Shame on you for making things more difficult for those of us who follow the rules.
Officer driving police car **-***** you have been spotted! At the intersection of Tecumseh and Banwell, heading north down Banwell, you were spotted swinging your cell phone in your hand while chatting on speaker phone.
You may be a "Man of the Law", but you are NOT above being the cause of serious and/ or deadly collision from distracted driving.
Please follow the laws that you enforce.
TO THE DRUNK MAN AT 3;30 LAST NIGHT IN EAST WINDSOR, You came to my home BANGED AND KICKED my door which woke me up I went to the door assuming it was my husband locked out to only find a drunk man trying to push his way into my home, it took all my force to push you out and get my door shut to lock it, you then continued to bang and kick my door while screaming...you continued to pace and then grabbed my chair from the front porch, which i thought he was going to hit my door with and then took off with the chair. YOU SCARED me to death, I was so shaken and YOU ARE LUCKY MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN WERE NOT HOME and thankfully my house was locked and you didn't just walk in on me sleeping in my home...OTHERWISE you would be in jail. People need to learn how to drink responsibly or just don't drink if you can not control yourself...Luckily for the both of us it did not escalate but was I ever shaken up...Jerk.
