Safe stopping distance from a school bus is 65 feet. Not an entire other intersection away lunatic. If four other cars can fit between you and the damn bus, go to road rage class. Reported your license plate. Have a nice day.

On Monday February 23rd at approx 9:30am I was at the red red light on Walker & provincial, by the tim hortons when a transport truck had to slam on his breaks in the left turn lane when the turn arrow turned red, as he slammed to a stop all the ice of the top of his truck slid off hitting my blue mazda 3 drivers door. I didn't realize until later he has caused $1700 damage to my door.
Did anyone who was at the light behind me possibly see this happen and catch the name of the trucking company, it was a red cab with no name visible on the passenger side.

There is a desperate need for more parking at MET Hospital. Ever since the 2 hospitals merged the parking at MET has been ridiculous. As I was leaving today I noticed a staff shuttle van leaving the parking lot. But I also saw staff parking in the lot. Is the lot not supposed to be for visitors? not staff. One most always be early for an appointment just to be able to hunt for a spot.

Today is "Pink Shirt Day," a day a young boy started by wearing a pink tshirt to end bullying. He was harassed by his peers for wearing a pink polo one day, and decided enough was enough. He rallied all the kids in his school to wear pink shirts to overwhelm the bullies and essentially drown the behaviour in a sea of pink.

To the individual who saw fit to respond to my kijiji ad, calling me stupid, asking where I pull my prices from, asking what the H*%# I'm thinking telling me my for sale item is cheap, then finishing with a sarcastic "good luck." What on earth makes that okay? If you are a true internet troll you're probably on Facebook and will hopefully see this posting. Shame on you for attacking complete strangers. If you don't like something you see, move along, don't call people names and try to shame them. I find it fascinating how people can hide behind the anonymity of their computer screens and abuse people in such a way.

Car accident at langlois and wyandotte st E...... Car severely damaged and car that hit them drove away!!!! How could you do that!!!! If anyone has any info im sure it would be appreciated to the 2 people who they hit!!!!! I was driving. Home from work... Did not see it but did stop to ask the lady if they needed anything..... I hope you find who did this!!!

I just wanted to thank the individual or individuals that took my 3yr old daughters sled out of our front yard today. It deeply saddens me that instead of thinking of the feelings or potential upset and hurt that your actions would cause you were more concerned with your own gain. It wasn't your deed that upset me the most; as an adult I understand the world and the unfortunate events that occur, but that I had explain to someone so young and innocent your actions and hearing her reply,"why didn't they just ask me to use it? I like to share Daddy." If anyone has seen or noticed a classic wooden sled with red boards near the Benjamin and Sheperd area please leave a comment below.

If you live in Windsor & Essex County and have been in search of employment in recent years, you are undoubtedly familiar with temp agencies.

By definition, a temporary assignment is a short-term position that gives a company time to evaluate the employee and see if they have the right skills to be hired on full time. They can make sure that the employee fits in with the company culture and that they work well with those around them. There is value to this. However, these companies that continue to hire temps and/ or keep them on for years without any pay raises or chance to advance should be fined.

Why is the government allowing these companies to operate this way? Working as a temp and working alongside full-time workers who make a substantially higher wage with benefits creates a toxic work environment. When will the government step in? I don't see the benefit of this for these companies either as they are paying a lot of money to these temp agencies rather than their hard-working employees.

I am wondering if anyone seen the 80yr old women that was hit by the city bus a little after 9 am Saturday Feb 21st? She is a friend of mine and well just say reading on the Windsor Star website, this bus driver has had other incidents, such as hitting a parked car on SUPERBOWL. This women is in AMAZING shape to be an 80yr old women, and bikes everywhere in Windsor. She has a broken pelvis bone and will be in the hospital for 2mths..Please pray for her.
