Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This afternoon i saw a man standing on the corner of Howard coming off the expressway. He had a black sign and written in white paint asking for money to help his two children. Ive seen this man before at that corner and I watched him limping up the sidewalk holding his sign. He was mumbling "Oh God, please" and shaking as he walked past the cars. As I drove away I saw in my mirror him throw the sign down and JOG back to the corner. His limp was magically gone and reach in his bag where he was hiding a drink. Just wanted to warn people this guy isnt hurting and made it clear its all an act as I drove away.
The first stroller was being pushed by a loving couple with a little baby in it. The second, a few feet behind, was another stroller, being pushed by a loving mom I assumed, until I looked in the stoller,,, It was a case of beer!!!!!!!!!!! LOL,,, everyone has their "babies!!"
Today I took a cab from vets. I use them frequently. The driver's debit was not working. I had to go to work. I'm late as it is. He wanted to drive down the street to a bank to pull money. I told him I didn't have time. I got out of the cab, told him I would find a way to pay ($10) and I called the company. Left my name and number . Said I'd come to pay at the cab stand (guy said no management was in. 2 hours later, the Driver shows up at my WORK AND GETS A MANAGER to complain about what happened and causes a scene. To the Driver if you're reading this.... I am complaining to your manager, 311 and I have half a mind to charge you with harassment. Do not come to my work and pull this. I'm not done with you at all.
To the old man in the charcoal MKZ that turned right out of the Home Depot on Tecumseh rd just east of Jefferson, that cut across 3 lanes of traffic, cutting me off, causing me to almost side swipe a white van you sir have been spotted. To the lady in the white van sorry for almost whacking you, you were in my blind spot and it all happened very quickly.
To the Homestyle Renovations truck that was backing up down Moy Avenue this morning. You didn't even stopped to look as you backed up through an intersection and almost hit my kids and I as we were crossing to get the school bus. What poor advertising for your company.
For the last few days been trying to take my girls to the little doggie park next to the big dog park at ford test track, and low and behold had to keep walking because the guy with RV camped out for days at a time with 5 large german shepherds pretty much run the whole park, which is why he won't put them in the big dog park. One can only assume you are living in that RV with 5 large dogs and that is not appropriate living quarters for these dogs, not too mention, you can't even pick up after them when you decide to leave the park.I had attempted to go to ask when you'd be letting your dogs out again,so we the owners of the little dogs could play safe and guess what ?I don't even think a police officer would approach your RV with the sounds that were coming out of there and you didn't even bother to check to see what we wanted.!Thanks for SHARING!
I spotted a large black (new) SUV leaving the jeep dealership in the 10000 block of Tecumseh east on april 7 at 8:30 pm....your plate starts with BMVV....you were an inch from killing me. I was walking past...you started down the driveway (I was watching to make sure you were stopping)...you slowed so I started again to walk....suddenly you floored it and cut 45 degrees across the driveway and swung a left - yep - you looked right FOR TRAFFIC, saw none and floored it to the left. you smashed my wrist with your side mirror and I twisted my ankle as I fell back to avoid being actually run over. If only i'd gotten your whole plate, but too shaken up. There's more on the road than cars, people!
I was at the east end Walmart with my sister when an older lady tried to come down the same aisle. Which happened to be the diaper aisle and as all mothers know. The aisle is not big enough for two carts. Although because she was persistent and continued to try. We moved the cart over completely and let her figure it out for herself. And when she couldn't fit(as we knew she wouldnt) she huffed and went around calling us "fat pieces of sh*t." The nerve of some people these days. And they say it's my younger generation that's so ignorant. Some yes. Not all and this lady proves. Its not JUST our generation. Smh.
