I have been a loyal shopper at Real Canadian Superstore on Dougall Rd for several years. Through the years, I've made several connections with their great staff. I have a teenage son with autism that on occasion I've brought with his support staff along to shop. Over time, they've gotten to know my son and have been extremely accommodating to his needs when we are there. If he is not with me, staff always take the time to ask me how he is doing. I am also a part of Autism Services Incorporated here in Windsor, and we do an annual fundraiser every spring with all proceeds going to The Bruce Awad Summer Program for Individuals with Autism. Carolyn Levesque, who works at the Dougall Store, volunteers her time every year as a Face Painter for the kids at the dinner. To my complete surprise, this year employees had a meeting, posted a volunteer list for our fundraiser, and will be collecting money to put towards purchasing a big ticket prize to raffle off at the event! Needless to say, I am completely overwhelmed and touched by the sincere efforts of these fine individuals that work at Real Canadian Superstore on Dougall. I truly believe that this store deserves recognition for their generosity in helping a cause that is close to my heart.

We recently moved to forest glade from walkerville and sad to not have our favourite Chinese restaurant close by. Tonight we ordered delivery from Silver Dragon Restaurant. We ordered a delux dinner for 2. One of the dishes was "special fried rice". Once we received our order I was surprised to see shrimp in the rice as I am not a fan of any kind of seafood. I called the restaurant and asked if this was a error, I explained this was our first time ordering from their restaurant. He assured me that it was not an error and this was the rice included in this dinner order. I thanked him and said next time we order I will know better and request a chicken rice in replacement. The man on the line insisted that they bring me a side order of rice with no shrimp and basically would not take no as an answer. It was only 5-7 minutes and my door bell rang,, it was the man on the phone delivering himself. I am very happy and impressed with the service I received from Silver Dragon. The food was great! Delivery was fast and to the man that felt bad about the girl that may not have had rice with her Chinese dinner,,, you have been spotted!! You have a new happy customer and will telling all my friends how good my dinner was!! thanks!!!

To the jerk I saw on Janette street yelling at the city of Windsor works, you've been spotted. Let the city workers do their job.

Sincerely a citizen who appreciates what our city workers do for us. Keep it up.

I was with my 3 little boys & my youngest, who's only 2 took off.....like a ninja!
within seconds...He was no where to be found! I didn't even need to ask for help...an employee heard me calling for my son and immediately sent out a message to the other staff members! Everywhere I looked, TARGET staff was in search! yes...eventually my little guy was found! I appreciate your quick assistance!!! so very thankful Here's to hoping that NEVER happens again!!!

Taza Mediterranean Grill on Cabana Road is our absolute favourite restaurant. The manager is always the friendliest and most personable waitress you could hope to meet. We have never had a bad experience there and not to mention... the food is delicious! Once again I was given superb service when getting take-out this evening. Thank you for being so awesome! We will continue to recommend your restaurant to our friends and family.

I was wondering if anyone knows were i can get some help for my family we are parents if 1 children both work but not enough to pay the bills and eat, we go to the food banks but they dont really give a lot because of a lot of people needing help, we were wondering if anyone knew of a place we can go that will help out with gift cards or even some guidance on what to do, any suggestions would be appeciated!

Thank you to the woman who not only found a cheque that belonged to me, but walked 5 blocks out of her way to return it. Where some people might not have even picked it up and it would have been destroyed by the weather for sure, she went above and beyond to make sure I didnt lose out on that money. I didnt even realize I had dropped the cheque in the Freshco parking lot.
I wad having a rough day and appreciated this act of kindness more than you know!
