Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This morning while in line at the Tim Hortons drive through on Central just before the expressway, I allowed a lady in a brown van to get in the line ahead of me. When I get to the window to pay for my order, I am told I don't have to pay because the woman two cars ahead of me paid for mine because she said no one ever lets her in line before them. So, thank you brown van lady for making my day! :)
Found an iPhone in the parking lot of tecumseh mall near the shoppers turned into telus if someone is looking for it... Hopefully its reunited with its owner soon!
To the saleswoman - Elise at The Work Authority on Walker and Tecumseh.
I was in there on Thursday night((march20th) around 6pm and my two young boys who were a little crazy. You
were so sweet to them at the same time helping my husband find the perfect work boots. When we were
paying for our purchase you gave the boys a candy. You have been Spotted!
You went above and beyond and I wish you great success in your career
as a Teacher, you'll do great.
Thanks Spotted in Windsor, I really enjoy reading your site.
Last week I had issues with my vehicle...After taking it to the garage I found out that my alternator was shot. I had gone to several repair shops as well as part dealers to only realize I was being taken advantage of as a female. Upon talking to my dad about the situation as I felt I was being taken advantage of. My dad told me about WINDSOR AUTO ELECTRIC and how they have been in business serving the windsor area since 1946..
So I decided to give it a shot...I went to windsor auto electric located at 895 Albert St, upon walking in the staff was very friendly and presented me with options as opposed to a big bill...thanks to windsor auto electric my alternator is fixed by repair instead of having to order in new which in turn saved me $200 +...
These guys were great...I would recommend that everyone try WINDSOR AUTO ELECTRIC for all your starter alternator or battery needs...unlike most city garages and part stores they are concerned about keeping their customers happy not digging into their bank accounts. The best part is they even warrantied the repair for 90 days...hands down my number 1 go to guys if I have any other vehicle issues...
Thank you WINDSOR AUTO ELECTRIC!!!
An amazing 12 yr old from Roseland public school, my son. I have epilepsy and my children live with having to deal with that everyday, for two years now my son has encouraged his entire school to take part in Purple day, epilepsy awareness day!! Painting nails purple, face painting, education about seizures and seizure safety, breaking down myths and sharing truth about what epilepsy really is. I want to thank the teachers at Roseland as well for all of their hard work in making this day of events possible. You have all been spotted for your amazing work!!!
I was wondering if anyone new of any places you could go in windsor that gives shoes for free?
I was at the Zehrs at Parkway Mall on Wednesday and witnessed the Commissionaires Officer checking every vehicle parked in the Disability Parking Spots for their sticker. I want to say THANKYOU to that Officer on this public forum (as I did in person) and tell him how much I appreciated seeing that because, in the history of these parking spots, I have never ever seen anyone check for stickers.
