The fact that you continued to help after I told you it was okay and that you could continue to tend to the customers next in line, was vey thoughtful, and you Hunnie, have been spotted!

To the wonderful fighfighter parked outside of the super store on Dougal this morning around 11 am...you made my sons day. :) Not only did you take the time to wave at him when you saw him waving at you in your fire truck, but you went out of your way to get out and greet him and allow him to sit in your seat for a few minutes while you talked to him. Our son recently became a big brother a few weeks ago and the transition has been a little hard for him...although we try to make him feel Extremely special on a day to day basis...what you did for him today was SO incredibly special to him. He has been talking about it all day! So thank you for your kindness.

Recently, I heard from a friend to try out this new local sports bar in the Walkerville area. I wasn't sure as I been to a lot of "sports" bars and well I was completely wrong about my instinct. Bobcats Bar and Grill has a great feel to the sports theme, 21 tvs for any sport you want to watch, a lounge area to chill back with buddies and have drinks. Now I've been to sports bars where I've paid $4.50-$5.00 for a beer. At bobcats they have cheap beer prices as in $3.75 beers and $3.00 vodka's and various drink specials can't get any cheaper then that. They have great friendly bartenders to serve them cold for you. As I was watching my NHL team loose yet again, I decided to take a look at their menu. Not only was I impressed with there menu, I had an even harder time choosing what I wanted to have. Everything on their menu is all HOME MADE and fresh. I ordered the Peanut Butter and Bacon Burger with fries. (Yes that says Peanut Butter) it was fantastic. The sweet salty taste together was to die for!! A great dinner that was delicious pretty cheap and did I mention HOME MADE??l. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time, watching the game, wanting to get out with some friends or just looking to have a couple drinks. I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious menu and tasty drinks.

To the middle aged couple that was feeding birds at Blue Heron Lake this (Wednesday) afternoon which resulted in a non-violent feud between seagulls and geese: THANK YOU, this is far more theatrical and entertaining than anything you could see on TV.

My 2 granddaughters (7 & 4) and I went to Joses on Howard Ave Monday to have dinner. When we were ready to pay the waitress told us that our meal had been paid for by a man and woman who wished to remain anonymous! I would just like to say a big THANK YOU to the couple for your kindness.!! What a nice surprise! My Granddaughters still say how nice that was for you to do that!

To the young guy in the bright green shoes who just helped a man with what appeared to be broken arm carry his groceries down California Ave. Kudos to you! Thanks for doing what I couldn't while waiting on my kids to get home from school! You have been spotted and I hope you enjoy the rest of this beautiful day!

First I would like to thank Howard and the wonderful staff at Monarch mattress for providing excellent detailed care and craftsmanship in providing my special needs son with a mattress (donated by HelpLink Windsor) that withstands wear and tear. You see my 11 year old son has an eating disorder called PICA. He eats in-editable objects and many mattresses just don't hold up to his high desires. Monarch Mattress has fixed and replaced a few mattresses at no extra charge. Thank you for continuing to be a great locally owned and ran business who takes pride in craftsmanship and honors costumers satisfaction.

Secondly, I would like to thank Marilyn and her staff at Lifestyle Pharmacy and Candy Bar at 3850 Dougall Ave. Not only have they taken the time to look up best prices available for prescriptions and special care needs for my family over the years they ALWAYS do it with the friendliest smiles and are always sneaking in special treats for my children to make their day. next time you need a prescription....be sure to check them out. Their service cannot be matched. PLUS....who doesn't like candy when you're needing a little cheering up?
