Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Took my 5 year old son to Ford Test Track Park today to run around and get some fresh air. There were a bunch of older (early teens - I'm guessing) boys on the playground equipment when we got there. My son, again, 5 years old, went up, and the other kids just welcomed him into their group like he's one of them. One kid even stuck his hand out, to shake my sons' hand, and said "Hey little dude, what's your name?" Then they all started a game of tag, and let my son catch all of them, and made my son feel like "one of the big boys!" That is all he talked about for the rest of the afternoon!! - Kids, who ever you are, THANK YOU for making my son feel special!!! Little things go A LONG way!!!!
Just wanted to say thank-you to the lady that sold my son The Price is Right DS Game today at the mom2mom sale at WFCU. My son didn't have enough money and was nervous to ask you if you would take it for the amount he had. You talked to him and explained to him and made a big difference today. We appreciate it so much. Thank-you again.
A big SHOUT OUT of THANKS to the Windsor Valiants Grade 11/ 12 Girls Basketball Travel Team. Today they, along with Coach Dan Van Horn and Tom Dimu gave their time and voices to ask for donations of food and/ or money at the Great Canadian Super Store on Walker Road. The donations of food and $2 (paid at the registers) will go to the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association to help fight hunger in our own community.
GREAT WORK AND THANK YOU AGAIN TO A GREAT GROUP OF GIRLS!!!

Windsor based organization gives away a free iPad for Autism Awareness Month!
Meet Cameron and Chloe! The 11.5 year olds went blue on World Autism Awareness Day with their incredible mom, Valerie! I asked Valerie who she'd like to participate for and her answer reminded me just how SUPER Autism Moms really are. She said, "I'm entering the contest for 2 of my TRIPLETS, Chloe and Cameron they are both on the severe end of the Autism Spectrum and have been through IBI and ABA. This is a fun way to get awareness out!!! Thanks!" Yes, TRIPLETS!
The siblings attend French school and are currently in grade 6 making great strides everyday! Like Chloe's shirt says, they are Always Unique and Totally Interesting!
Valerie has a document set up on her home computer to make sure she doesn't forget to check the daily question and to remind her to send all of her answers in on April 28th! Cameron and Chloe are determined to win the iPad to help them with their studies! GOOD LUCK Cameron and Chloe!
**Please note - when you register for the iPad Give-Away you can nominate Cameron and Chloe to win if you don't have a child or loved one you're participating for**. Details at MoselyBehaviour.com
After yesterdays circumstances, I couldn't help but have my heart touched my the sight of this break in the clouds. Someone once told me that when you see the rays through the clouds like this, it means a soul is being lifted into heaven. This was taken Friday at 530pm at the intersection of Firegrove and Chateau, and the rays directed right at Lauzon and Tranby. I hope this brings you peace
To the truck at the Tim Hortons on Tecumseh and Huron Line, you cut us off at the drive thru on April 2, and we thought you were a jerk. You redeemed yourself by paying for our order of coffee, and restored some faith that not everyone is oblivious to those around them. Thank you!
On Saturday we are having our daughters 4th birthday party and she requested pizza as her meal. Majority of pizza places don't open until 3pm or later and the party starts at 1. After stopping in to Primo Pizza, we were very pleased to be told he would come in early to accommodate our order. We've ordered from Promo many times before and very much enjoy their food. A big Thank You to Primo Pizza for helping us out on our little girls special day. Great pizza, reasonable prices, very friendly staff!! You have been spotted!!!!
