Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the amazing staff, specifically a nurse at Mets labour and delivery floor.
I had my daughter 3 weeks ago and even though it was my second baby I was obviously very nervous about labour.
She, along with a few other nurses were absolutely amazing!
She specifically made me feel very comfortable with everything that was going on.
She was very encouraging and quite entertaining, especially when she did a little happy dance after I was fully dilated.
She kept telling me "when you feel pressure let me know right away"
When I did, she and a few other nurses jumped right into action getting everything ready for my little girl. They raced around the room yet still kept everything very calm.
The entire 7 hour labour was a breeze, partly because of how great she was.
Not only was she very friendly and helpful towards me but she got my boyfriend involved as much as she could and even took the time to ask questions such as, how we met, questions about our son and our jobs.
She is obviously someone who truly cares about her job and the families she helps.
So a huge thank you to her for making it a very memorable and happy experience.
I decided to take my kids to Massey highschool yesterday and my son was playing soccer by himself, there was a kind lady who tried to encourage my son to go play with her kids, I want to say thank you for your effort in trying to get my son to play with your kids, he is very shy.
Hello this is my first time writing to you so I'm just going to follow how everyone else writes ;
To the man in the black car who returned my wallet to me after finding it outside of my car on Pierre Avenue. THANK YOU. I can not remember if I even thanked you after my panic of it being gone. There really are good honest people still out there. I am going through a week of nursing exams and totally stressed out and loosing my mind, returning it made my day! Again thank you so much!!
To the man who was out with his 2 kids on April 21st picking up garbage on the side of the road and in the ditches on Alma near Walker. You and your kids set a great example for others in cleaning up the environment
I stopped in at the New Subway on Walker Road.And I have to give the Customer Service an A+ on the best service I have had in a long time.From greeting me as I walked in the door to carrying on a conversation with me until I left.The food was as awesome as the Smiles from the employees!The crew at this Subway has been SPOTTED and I will keep returning to see them for the great service and welcoming atmosphere!
i took this picture on my way home at about 5am i see at least 2 raccoons a night. Now that it finally feels like spring time all of the animals are starting to come out of hibernation (ie Raccoons, Skunks Possums) And they are all looking for a quick snack, which in most cases is a easy to access garbage, here are some quick ways to help you to keep that garbage critter proof
