Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the gentleman at my work (burger king on walker near Cosco) what you did was small but touched my heart. I was talking to another gentleman that comes in all the time. Not knowing I asked him how his wife is doing ( I knew she was sick) and he told me she had passed about a month ago, so this other gentle man came over and handed him a toonie and said I couldn't help but hear what happened he said the least I can do for you is buy you a coffee. Just so you know he was very happy.
To the gentle man that touched more then just my heart: thank you so much
Super huge thank you to the person who found the game I bought today ay Walmart on techumseh road east and returned it to walmart personnelle. I am very grateful,I saw it was missing when we got home and was super bummed. The way it goes with me is if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all, so whoever you are, you made a little girl and her mother very happy tonight! Thanks :)
On April 30 I was shopping at the Shoppers on Tecumseh Rd E. One item was on a good sale and the shelf was now empty. A nice young man ( Curtis ) insisted I wait while he got more. Within 2 minutes, he returned with more stock. That's the customer service I love. Kudos to you Curtis !
Woman's Fair at South Windsor Knight's of Columbus. Something for everyone from Avon to Young Living Essential Oils and more.
A young disabled woman lost her balance and collapsed on the corner dropping her groceries. She had a cane and was struggling to try to get back up and this nice young man with a back pack who came up and helped her to her feet and proceeded to help her pick up whatever it was that she was transporting. It just warmed my heart to see a young man with such empathy and compassion! God sees All and may he bless you for your good deed!!!
I was at Q Nails with my dad getting pedicures on Tuesday and he started to feel like his blood sugar was low... Turns out he hadn't eaten since breakfast. Our feet were in water waiting for our pedicures, but I told him I was gonna get out and run over to the store to get him a pop (sugar). The 13 year old girl waiting for her mom to finish her nails asked if she could go to the store for my dad and get him something to eat or drink. She walked through the plaza and got my dad some iced tea from Taco Bell. While she was gone her mom said that she just recently lost her grandpa and that she took care of him while he was sick. Once he had some sugar he felt so much better. What a beautiful young lady. Thank you Zoe and Krista (for teaching her compassion)
please go and vote for "Brooke before her hip hop concert" so she can win her dance tuition~

Thank you Michelle, at Jose's Bar and Grill on Howard Avenue---excellent service, attitude and sense of humour. You showed excellent professionalism when we asked about moving to a different table when the customers sitting behind us had put way too much cologne on and it was permeating our air space. You did not bother us every 5 minutes to ask us "How is everything?" You and your assistant brought our meals with a smile and kept the rounds flowing. The meals were prompt, hot and delicious. As we don't routinely go out to dinner, this was a special night as friends had come in from London. Michelle, you made it even more special with your charm, your wit and your smile. Even when you were asked if you wanted to "rotate in" by my hubby, you laughed with us and kept your composure and responded in kind. I hope Jose's management understand what a gem they have found in you.
Signed,
The Crazy Foursome at the round table....
