I was trying to leave the hospital with my daughter after her surgery when she passed out in the wheelchair she was in. The two men that helped get her completely onto the floor. Thank you for helping me.To the staff from Met hospital thank you for your prompt attention and fast response to help send her back to day surgery. The nurse that let me call home from her cell, to have my other daughter picked up. You all have been spotted. Thankyou for all your help made our situation
Today I was leaving the mall and walking to my aunts van. I was driving my aunts caravan because she had my car in london. I used the lock button on the key to make it honk. I seen the lights blink so I started walking towards it. I got in and tried to start it but I couldn't turn the key. I started dialing my aunt but then I saw an older man standing at the drivers side window. I opened the door and said hello, can I help you? He looked at me and said. Do you want to trade keys? I looked at him and he can tell I was so confused. He laughed and told me I was in his van and that my van was right behind his. I was so embarrassed I started laughing so hard and saying I'm sooooooooo sorry. He just smiled back and said " I'm just glad I'm not the only one that does this " he was so cute and I want to thank him for not getting upset that I was sitting in his van trying to start it. So to that old man, thank you for being so sweet. What are the odds we were both walking to our vehicles at the same time and pressing our unlock at the same time lol
Thank you to the employees and customers at the Zehrs (Parkway Mall). I go there a lot and they have always been friendly and kind but today I got that warm fuzzy feeling. Like a weird episode of Cheers. The girls all know me even if they don't my name. They see me coming in my wheelchair and they smile and say hi. The pharmacy call me by name and say hi even if I'm not stopping there. You are all good people and I appreciate the work you do.
Thank you for helping me at cash out and not being too appalled at my method of carrying groceries home (still no neck ache!).
Thank you to all the customers who grab the things off the higher shelves for me. Thank you for not being too annoyed when I hold the line up due to having to have my groceries packed a certain way. It means more then I can explain.
Thanks to the man who helped me out when my car broke down on Tecumseh by Westiminster; I was frantic and you came right over to help. Also to the other two men who came along and helped push me off the road. This was my first bad car experience, I felt so embarrassed, especially on Tecumseh road. Good to know there are still good and helpful people out there. Thanks again!
I was at the Tim Hortons on Howard and Grand Marais the other night with my husband, sister and her fiance, and had AWESOME service by the young lady that goes by Astivia, she was very attentive, very cheerful, and went above and beyond when there was a small glitch with my order. I had ordered the soup deal, which I guess wasn't clear when I placed the order, and I asked her, doesn't a donut come with it, and she ended up giving me the donut anyhow, since it was her mistake.
I did call her manager this morning to give kudos, but wanted to come here and tell you all about it.
Thank you Astivia, we will definitely be back!

To the waitress (Louise) at Husky House this morning (Sunday) between 11am-Noon you have been spotted along with your bus staff who stepped in to help. You had a coworker not show up for their shift and had an extremely busy rush of people then with two large groups come in at the same time. You managed to keep your cool, get everyone's orders and served all on your own. Great job to you and good team work from your bus person/ kitchen staff for assisting when they could. You need a raise. The breakfast was excellent as always. Kudos to you. Give this woman a raise.
I am hoping to find out if anyone knows if there are any all female adult softball teams having registrations or if the signup dates have already passed? Thanks!
