Today we are having our LeeLee Hat Charity yard sale and this lady purchased a couch and chair to support our community programs. While we all struggled to get it into her vehicle. This man offered to deliver it to her home as a courtesy. Such a great gesture. Come see us today!!!! 3130 McKay until 1 pm. Maybe more kindness is among us.
This week I shopped at Costco with my 3 yr old. By the end, she was cranky and bored and very close to a melt down. While we were waiting at check out, the employee who was loading our items started to chat with her. He noticed that she was holding her fairy wand, and told her not to put a spell on him...that got her laughing hysterically as she tried to turn him into a frog and he ran away, trying to dodge the spell. Like most kids her age, when something makes her laugh, she wants to do it again & again & again...he was such a good sport and kept her entertained until we were ready to leave. MIKE at Costco, you have been spotted for making a little fairy's day!
To the older couple at the river who walked up to me and my fiancé to on Riverside. We were getting some engagement pictures done and they watched us while we were doing our different poses. You stopped us as we walked by and asked when we were getting married. We told you and you said "56 years of marriage and we want to give you some advice...never stop laughing. You two look adorable. " thank you for that, that was so adorable of you two. Loved how you guys were walking away while holding hands. I hope to never lose what me and my fiance have, and I hope we look as cute as you did;)
You have been spotted
I was walking through the parking lot of Shoppers' Drug Mart, at Howard and Tecumseh, when my 5 year old son, tripped, fell, and scraped his knee really bad. I picked him up and carried him in the store as he was bleeding quite a bit. The 2 cosmeticians, Audrey and Kristin, came right over and helped me take care of him. They gave me some wipes to clean it, disinfecting spray, and a Ninja Turtles band-aid, and a couple extra band-aids "just in case!" - and made him feel much better, while Kristin cheered him up by singing the Ninja turtles theme song! Neither one them once made us feel rushed, but rather took their time and showed compassion to my son, while interacting with other customers'!! Kristin and Audrey, thank you for being there for my son and I!! You both have been spotted!!!
This year my 9 year son lost a great aunt and grandma to heart disease. He decided he wanted to help raise money so that he can help others. He has been planning for months and has decided that he will be selling water, pop, cupcakes ( he even created a custom cupcake for this event of a chocolate cupcake with caramel icing) and beautiful jewellwery he created ( like the one pictured ) and hand crafted himself. He will be set up on Monmouth across from St.Anne's school Fri, sat and Sunday. Please stop by on your way to or from art and the park and help him help others. Thanks signed one proud mom!
To the person driving the white Sierra Truck today June 5, 2014, and backed into the parking spot at Freed's today at 12:30...you backed into my front fender with your extended trailer hitch on your truck and damaged my car....I worked hard for my new car and don't appreciate careless people like you...
On Thursday June 5th, my mother, husband and I attended the “iDine IN Family Restaurant" at the “iSleep Inn” Motel on Howard @ Edinborough for lunch. This was our fourth visit in the past three weeks and for good reason! The owner Laura, is the sweetest lady, always making her customers feel so welcomed and she always seems legitimately appreciative for our business. Now as if that wasn't enough, the FOOD is so tasty and excellently prepared by the equally sweet chef in the back. (Sorry, I don't know his name!) Portion sizes are very generous and more than fairly priced.
It's always fun to find a new haunt to dine at but to find one with food This Good AND where the owners/ staff are so kind and hardworking, well this is the type of business that I want to support!
Thank you Laura and ‘Chef'! Your commitment to customer service, kindness and delicious food have indeed been Spotted!
