Good Samaritan / Guardian Angel

I went to my friends place and I was fine there, it was after that that all hell broke loose. I got lost going back home, ending up in Lasalle going towards Amherstburg I think, just not in the right direction to get back to Windsor. I pulled over and this nice gentleman and his fiance gave me directions but for some reason I did the total opposite to what he told me to do. He proceeded to follow me sensing that something was not right and I pulled over again and he said to me, follow me I will get you home. In the mean time my temperature was extremely high and I did not know that. I knew that I felt warm and I had had a headache for the last few days. As I was following him I proceeded to pass him instead of following him, why??? I don know. I believe that I was getting deeper and deeper into the extreme Heat Stroke stage. After I passed Adel he lost me momentarily on Walker Road where I pulled onto a side street once again and pulled over again, why?? I dont know. The gentleman found me and asked me if he could plse drive me home. At this point I said yes,
to please do so. As I was going around the van I fell. This GOOD SAMARITAN (ADEL from A1 AUTO GLASS) got me home safe and sound. He asked to talk to one of my kids as I seemed totally lost. Both my sons came downstairs. Tim, my youngest son, got me in the elevator and he said that I was falling over and had no balance. When he saw that I was lost and could not answer some of his questions, he called an Ambulance and they took me to the hospital. My temperature in the ambulance was 41.5 which is well over 104-105 I think. They tried everything to try and get it to come down and it did not want to come down and my headache was getting worse. They did a number of blood tests, ECG, EKG, and they did a Brain Scan as they were worried some damage might have been done but those results all cam back NEGATIVE meaning that all was good with the brain scan....good results....this made me so happy. Thus, after all of
these tests, they came to the conclusion that I was suffering from EXTREME HEAT STROKE.
We are thinking that this all started on Saturday night when we went to the races and I did not have a hat on all evening, then on Sunday I went out again to the Legion to the Canada Day Dance and no doubt over exerted myself, however, I did not stay long tho as I was not feeling all that great and my head was killing me. So the Dr. gave me a bag of
intravenous and when it came to the second one I asked if I could go home. I am still feeling week and drained but it will take a couple days to get back to normal. Sorry this is so long but I wanted to fill all my amazing friends and family of what just happened to me.
I had an angel on my should because I could have had a major accident and killed myself or someone else. Had it not been for my Good Samaritan Adel and the angel on my shoulder I might not be here right now sending this to all of you. I also want to thank everyone for all the prayers and good thoughts. Again, I am sorry for it being so lengthy. I love ALL of you very much. Needless to say, this was a very scary event, today I am feeling tired and
drained, but that is ok. I AM OK

Thank you for being such a good person !

On Friday while the recycling was being picked up in our neighbourhood, I ran out to put some last minute things out, as the truck came to my house. A very kind and friendly man emptied my recycling bins wishing me a good day, and continued on. I was wishing I had a cold drink to give to him on this hot day. My 11 year old son at the time was cutting a neighbours grass at the corner and came home with a big Gatorade. I asked oh, that from the neighbor? No, it was from the guy in the recycling truck!

Thank you, thank you that was a very kind thing for you to do.
I will pay it forward.

Thank you for speaking up for me

I want to give a shout out to a women who I assume is another mom at TD Devonshire Mall earlier today for being so sweet and speaking up for me. If you are this women, thank you. I went to deposit money and noticed there was a little bit of a mix up with the amount. After putting in the money I pulled over to the side with my 3 and 1 year old kids to text my husband and confirm the amount that I had deposited. Little did I know my 3 yr old is licking the bars that make the lineup at the bank. I am aware of this as an older man starts shouting out "that's disgusting". Once I realize what my son has done I stop him and tell him "ew thats yucky don't lick it." The man however continues 2 more times loudly to mention how disgusted he is about my son licking the bar that it gets everyone in the bank's attention. At which point a lady who I assume is a mother herself who probably understands kids and their behaviours also waiting in line, tells him how I'm the mother handling it and that it's just a kid doing something that shouldn't offend him that much. Thank you. I was so confused and shocked about how much of a scene this man made that I never got a chance to respond to him but most importantly thank you for "having my back". I obviously would never let my son lick the bars but in that split second he did.

THANK YOU!!

June 30th and into the morning of July 1st, My husband and I were at Walker Rd Animal Hospital with our cat. She had been going through a lot over the past month, and we had been in there many times over the last two weeks. Last night was very busy there and ourselves as well as, another couple were waiting there for almost 4 hours with each of our cats. While waiting to see the vet, the woman and I started talking about our pets and how much we love them even though it's so expensive, etc.. Eventually they were called in, and then we were shortly after. After many hard decisions, we were told it was going to be best to put our little Chloe down. My husband and I were crying so much, & letting the vet know that we wouldn't get paid until Thursday to be able to pay for her cremation(otherwise they wouldn't be able to give us back her ashes). The vet afterwards came in to our room and told us that the other couple, that just left, paid $200 to our account to help us with the cost of the cremation. In such a hard time, a complete stranger gave us $200 to help us have our little girl forever with us! There simply are not enough words or thank you's that can be said!! They had already left before we had a chance to say thank you & the office cant give out their information; So whoever you sweet, amazing angels are, THANK YOU!! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much!!
Chloe was the love of my life and my very best friend, and I am so very appreciative that we could put her to rest and be able to keep her ashes, because of you! We hope your kitty gets better and many good things in life come your way! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

The stranger who became a pageant mom within minutes of meeting!

Today while shopping at Tecumseh Mall's Suzy Shier for dressy clothes since I am in many local pageants within windsor/ essex county. I met this lady while trying on clothes named Sonya who is an amazing lady. She is a regular customer at this store and took the time to give me great motherly advice on outfits I was trying on along with going back around the store to every part of it and recommending different outfits to try! It meant the world that a stranger could be so kind! I know she will be cheering me on at the Miss Tecumseh Pageant! Thank you Sonya for being so kind and taking time out of your day to help me find some cute outfits for all of my upcoming events :)
