Yesterday my friend Cathy and were returning from shopping in Livonia. We did not purchase a huge amount of stuff, but it did look like we did. She bought 4 pillows and I bought a trash can. I would like to thank the very nice (and cute) customs officer that we had when we came back. He was very friendly, and nice. Thanks for letting us through without a hassle, you made our day!
Holly who works the Tim Hortons drive-thru on Walker and 42. You're a pleasure to see every morning! So polite and friendly but still getting everyone through the drive-thru as quickly as possible. I've never had one complaint about the team running that drive-thru. Good job! :)
To the EMS and police officers that attended my mother and sister's car accident tonight (hit and run from a drunk), thank you so much for your professionalism and for the care you gave my mother and twin sister. I'm sorry I did not get your names, but I hope you enjoy the cake!
Again, thank you!
On behalf of myself and Autism Services Inc, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items towards The 2014 Wish List for The Summer Program. We could not do this without the generous support from our community! By donating to our Wish List, this enables ASI to keep costs down, while still maintaining an exceptional program. The Bruce Awad Summer Program is such an important part of the summer for individuals with autism, their accomplishments are so inspiring! There are still items needed on the Wish List, with The Summer Program set to begin on July 7. What a great community we live in! Thank You!
To my sweetheart of a neighbour Madison. Tonight you saw me struggling to cut my grass with my 3 year old who has decided he is petrified of bugs. When you came over I was giving him a piggy-back ride while pushing the mower and you took him for a quick walk so I could finish up. You are so sweet. You and your parents (for raising you so well) have been spotted!
To the young couple who found our wayward dog in the area Patillo and Old Tecumseh this afternoon. Thank you for taking the time to find out who he belonged to and to returning him to our home safe and sound..You have been spotted.
I would like to spot Wendall at the East side Staples beside Walmart on Tecumseh rd. I have had the wonderful experience of this gentleman's customer service and impeccable manners twice now. The first time was over a year ago when he helped us purchase a new laptop. Last night was the second time. Both times his knowledge, patience and understanding left me with a smile on my face.
We had gone to Walmart first to find a new case for my daughter's ipod 4 because the dog chewed the Survivor case she had before. Unfortunately Walmart had nothing for that generation of ipod. The Walmart staffed looked at us like we were nuts for not understanding why we couldnt buy a case for an ipod that is only a year old. All the accessories are for the new generation of ipod.
Anyway we went to Staples instead. Someone asked us upon entering the store if we needed help. I asked if there were any cases for an ipod 4. The lady directed us to the clearance sections in the electronics section. Wendall came over immediately and went out of his way to help us find a case in the pile of merchandise. Then he went further to find us a screen cover too. We walked out of there 2 happy customers. My daughter was smiling from ear to ear.
Thanks Wendall you have been spotted.
