Cool and Collected!

My daughter had fallen down the stairs while visiting Grandma's house. I quickly rushed her to TMC for a gash in her forehead I knew would need stitches. First, THANK YOU to the man who let me jump ahead of you in line to see the receptionist. Next, the nurses that knew my concern, and how scared I was, thank you for being so calm and easing my anxiety, and getting us in so quickly quickly!! to the doctor who gave my daughter her stitches, thank you for being so patient, calm and collected. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to work with a screaming child, and to give them a needle for numbing, AND stitches!!! Thank you times a million!!!

Lakeshore garbage men hard at work

On Thursday, August 7, I was driving down Belle River Rd. and happen to pass by a garbage truck that had pulled over to the side of the road and was reversing to pick up a discarded mattress that someone had tossed near a field. A worker had jumped out of the truck and was running back ahead of the truck to grab the mattress. This is not a sight that you would ever see in the city. Thank you for going the extra mile to make sure that Lakeshore is clean and beautiful. This is one of many reasons why I moved out to the county. You have been spotted!!!

Kind elderly gentleman

Today I was at Wendy's near costco with my parents. While we were eating we noticed an elderly man eating his lunch. When I was getting to get some ketchup, I smiled at him. When we were on our way to go, he stopped my parents and told them "you have a very nice Daughter." Thank you so much to that man. You made my day!! #spottedinwindsor #smile

Inspiration

I saw a man going for a run with a young kid (possibly his son) this morning on Malden Rd. They were holding hands as they were running. Something about them was so fascinating. It could have been the smile on their faces and the fact that the father was trying to pace himself so him and his son ran side by side. If you read this, I want you to know that if I have kids one day, I want to be the kind of parent that you are, sir. #spottedinwindsor #parenting

To the gentleman working the MRI this early morning. I would like to give big thanks for being patient. This morning i was scheduled for an MRI at Windsor Regional Hospital. Being my first MRI and also being claustrophobic i was very nervous. The gentleman took the time to speak with me and even show me the big scary machine before i was called in. I felt safe and instantly felt less fretful. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to calm my nerves. #spottedinwindsor #greathelp
