Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Riverfront Theatre Company would like to thank everyone who stopped in at Sobeys on Manning and Amy Croft today between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to support our first annual car wash! It was a steady stream of cars coming in all day, and a very successful event.
It did not escape our notice that plenty of these cars were already pretty clean - clearly a good number of folks were just willing to support the cause.
We appreciate your support!
Thank you to the kind people that stopped to help my boyfriend pull his bike to the side of the road . The back tire had locked at an intersection. A man and his son stopped to help lift the back end while my bf steered the front. A commercial vehicle saw them struggling and stopped to also help. People like you are soooo appreciated!! Thank you :):) :D
Yesterday, my mother and I had lunch at Jose's, but I needed an emissions test. So I quickly stopped at MacDonald's Auto Service, you know where they make all those cool people out of car stuff. I had never been there before and they were piled up with appointments and still took me in and also looked at some other stuff I was mentioning about my car. They made me feel so welcomed. They are the NICEST people ever! They gave me some coupons, my next oil change free, and also a goodiebag. I cherished each and everyone of them, Thank you so much!!
Woke up this morning to a stunning sunrise. Had to take a shot.
To the nice gentleman who paid for my kids treats today. It was so generous of you! This gave me the opportunity to talk to them about Karma. After all the times we have paid for peoples coffees and just did nice things I told them it feels good to do for others and sometimes in life others will do for us. Kids want to pay for someones coffee in the morning because in my daughters words 'We need to pay it forward' Thanks again
A new year is upon us at the squadron. We are inviting all 12, 13, 14 year old youths who want the experience of being an air cadet to come out on Sept 8th, 2014 at the HMCS Hunter on Ouellette ave at 6:20 pm. I have my daughter in this program and it has helped her grow into a fine young adult. I encourage all parents of young teens to have there child get involved. Air cadets have opportunities many will never experience in a life time. This program really helps to find a great path in life at a young age. I'm so proud of the work and dedication of the Lancaster squadron staff. You are all amazing!
I would just like to thank the two very young boys who helped me today in the Lasalle trails when I fell on my rollerblades, breaking and dislocating my elbow. I was with my dog and two young gentlemen, maybe 9 or 10 years old, stopped on their bikes to see if I was okay. When they realized I was seriously injured, they offered any help they could, left their bikes, and helped me carry my things, rollerblades, and my dog to where I could get more help. Your parents should be proud of you for noticing when somebody needed help and I'm thankful you boys came to my rescue.
To the ladies and gentleman who came to my aid when I accidentally fell down on the concrete stairs outside the bay store today
Thank you so much for your help and concern
Your kindness is very much appreciated
All is good
