Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Sometimes I think that people just need the recognition they deserve. It's easy to point out people's flaws, or degrade people or complain about others...
But it's so hard for people now a days to be positive. Today i need to spot someone who is genuinely one of the kindest most sincere people that I've ever met... His name is Eddie, and I don't know his last name but he works @ The Freshco on Tec/ Rivard. He works in the vegetable department(I believe), and must live in the area, as I always see him walking in the neighbourhood. I am a middle aged woman and my husband and I frequent this store on a daily basis, and sometimes a couple times a day, and have been shopping there for years. Eddie is always hard at work but never misses a beat when it comes to smiling and greeting us and many others as they walk thru the doors. He has never hesitated if we needed help with a product or even retrieving something maybe a little fresher from the back if we inquire about it. He definitley goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. We have come to know him well and see him in and around the store with his children, whom he dotes on! We always look forward to hearing stories about his kids. So thank you Eddie for being a such a sweetheart to your customers and a down to earth person. Our conversations have at times turned a bad day better!! Never Change! Windsor and the world need more people like you in it!!!
As a tenant living here, I would like to express my gratitude to the others in the building who step up to clean up around the building when management does nothing!! It's sad the recycling hasn't been put to the curb in over a month! It was overflowing so bad that it had to be put in garbage cans. A note was written to the collectors in hopes they would use the extra muscle to lift the garbage cans. If they do, then our many thanks go out to you!!
I guess this is a combination good and bad spotted!
GET A GRIP MANAGEMENT!!!
Spotted : To Jay who helped me out this morning. I was driving down Riverside Drive and I ended up with a flat. I pulled over and this guy stopped right away and noticed I had a flat. Without any concern he got everything out and changed my flat and even after offering some money he declined and said no thank you. I was so worried about the possibility of a car coming to close and injuring him but he said he was fine. Thanks again Jay and I hope you see this to know you have been spotted for being a great guy! #Flattire #Riverside #Randomactofkindness #SpottedinWindsor
This morning at about 8:30 ( september 17th ) I was waiting at ouellette and wyandotte for the bus and a lady walked up sat down to wait for the bus also.. This gentleman that happened to be waiting at the cross light that she crossed at seen that she dropped something so he parked his car in the nearest parking lot got out and walked back to the light where she dropped something picked it up and brought it to her it ended up being her bus transfer that she didn't realize she dropped she wouldn't have been able to get on the bus if you didn't stop and go pick it up for her!! You've been spotted. #SpottedinWindsor #Randomactofkindness
While waiting in the checkout line of target today with my 8 month old son I was greeted by the 3 most adorable kids! They were wearing all white, and were with their mom. You kids have been spotted! You were so friendly, and very well mannered. You entertained my baby, and put a big smile on my face. As I was leaving, you ask said "very nice to meet you" and I just wanted you 3 to know how amazing you are! Also, to your mother, keep up the good work! These kids will make a difference in this world.
This afternoon I got a knock on my door, it was a young man, I'd say early 20's. He had found my neighbors son's wallet at a gas station (my neighbors weren't home so he said he rather leave with a neighbor than the station). Now this may not seem like a big deal to some, but it really was; not only did he go out of his way to return it, he could have easily made out like a bandit... In his word's "theres quite the wad of cash in there". I left a note on my neighbors door. About a half hour later his mom came by incredibly grateful, we were both amazed that there are still good, honest people out there. You are a wonderful human being and I hope tonnes if good karma comes your way!
Thank you to the woman at the Children's Place Outlet today for making my shopping spree with my 2 year old and 4 month old who are not fans of shopping, a little less chaotic. First she opened the door for us when she saw the clunky double stroller coming. Then she was behind us in line and I was trying to find the coupon code on my phone. I was so embarrassed because I was taking forever and my toddler was whining because he wanted to go home and my 4 month old was due for a feed. I couldn't find the code in my email and was losing focus between trying to keep my toddler from grabbing things off the counter and consoling my baby, and the cashier was just staring at me. I was actually dripping sweat. The woman behind me was waiting so patiently and brought the code up on her phone so I could get the 20% off, and did not appear annoyed that I was taking so long. It was a relief! You've been spotted! :)
Kayli Anne Vankoughnett feeling blessed with Cheryl Yetman Kale
My baby Mylow will be home today thanks to my dearest friend Cheryl Yetman Kale. Cheryl your honestly the most incredible person in the world. Shes been trying so hard to get donations all day for me to get Mylow out from the Humane Society and she has gone out of her way to donate also. This dog has so many loving people helping his owners to get him out and to get him back home. Honestly in tears of happiness that there's people like Cheryl around, she is the most incredible human being I have met and I just thought you should all know that in a world full of bad there are still those kind loving people out their.
