Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This is for the cashiers at Walmart on Dougall. You all showed remarkable patience with an impatient guy complaining loudly in line last night. Great job! We the customers tried to help you from the line as much as we could and promoted Windsor and Canada as not as bad as this guy said it was. Windsor has a great attitude! Windsor rocks!
I have found an unneutered male dog with no tags. He was found in Seminole & Francois area. He is very friendly. I'm sure his family is missing him!!
Kudos to all the transit windsor or any bus drivers who uses defensive driving technique when dealing with terrible drivers, to get the passengers to their destination.
Big shout out to the 8:23 am Dominion 5 bus driver going southbound, much respect for keeping your cool while a white vehicle cut in front of the bus near Southwood P.S.
Just spotted a group of individuals, of various backgrounds, stand up to a man who spoke of racial slurs and was spitting on people of colour at the river front. Although an unfortunate event of racism, it makes me happy to know there are people willing to stand up to racism and welcome diversity amongst Windsor Essex.
I just want to thank the person who returned my change purse that contained my debit card and some change.I left it in the shopping cart by mistake and the cart was left in the parking lot in the cart corral. This was at the Zehrs Superstore on Dougall. No can convince me that there are more good people than bad people in this world, especially in Windsor! Again, thank you!.
Facebook has a group that helps the homeless from Windsor to London areas by making sleeping mats for the homeless out of plastic bags! They donate the sleeping Mats to Street Help Unit 7 in Windsor and London Cares in London. Here is a link to the group it is called Sleeping Mats for the Homeless in London and Windsor.

I had unfortunately lost my wallet yesterday somewhere around the Lauzon rd/ Forest Glade area and after retracing my steps back home had accepted it was gone. Arriving home later that afternoon I received a call from the Windsor police saying that someone had turned in my wallet to the Forest Glade library. I picked it up and it was just as I'd left it. Nothing was missing. If you are or know who the kind person is that returned my wallet please let me know. Thank goodness windsor still has good samaritans ♡
Thanks too Elford and Stowe in Essex who helped me out, when no one else would,
I am a woman and when going too a garage for help we sometimes get treated like we are stupid.
Thanks too Dave, Jerry and Steven for listen too me, and getting me the help I needed,,,
