Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Last night I went to Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital to be with my mom who was rushed in. I parked my car at the 3 hour parking lot but the machine wouldn't take bills, only exact change. A gentleman pulled in at the same time. He didn't have enough to break my five so I ran to emerge to check on my mom and get change. When I came back, there was a paid ticket waiting under a rock on the machine. There were no other cars in the lot other than mine, the gentleman and the one other car in the lot when we arrived. So to that gentleman, whoever you are, it must've been you. I wanted to simply say thank you. I had hoped you were still there when I was leaving so I could leave a note on your windshield but you had left already. That was a very thoughtful thing to do and very much appreciated.
I have a Question for Windsor Aminal lovers.
My mom and Step dad want to breed their Male dog; Where can they find an owner willing to breed their female??? Is there a website or a shelter in windsor?? :s I have no idea. Looking for a female Maltise ; ?
To Kasia at Pizza Hut on Dougall Ave: Thank-you for being so attentive to notice that my wife's pizza was not made very well. It was as you said "ugly." Thank-you again for insisting that it be remade by the kitchen! Service like yours makes a dinner out a pleasure. :)
Saturday afternoon, around 2:30 - 3:00 pm the very kind driver of the Dougall 6 bus went out of his way to not only save his bus from damage but protecting some parked cars too.
Cars were parked on both sides of Bruce (guess someone had a late night or a night shift) and rather than honk, or drive through without a care for the cars, he got out of the bus, folded the mirror back of the pick up truck that was parked on the correct side of the road, and carefully proceeded through. It was so nice to see him take that extra step to ensure that no one suffered any damages.
On top of that, he was friendly and helpful too!
Last night while tricker treating the girls went to the house in forest glade and the guy ran out of stuff and forgot to turn out his light apologized to the girls that he had nothing left they said it was ok They were so cold so we stopped into max milk to warm up for a few minutes and while we were in there that gentleman showed up there and felt bad for not having anything left for them so he bought them all a hot chocolate to warm up ..thank you so much you made the girls night u have been spotted
Last night my son and I took the Crosstown 2 bus home from Tecumseh Mall. There was a guy getting on the bus with 4 young children who were obviously out for Halloween. The guy had a cast on his hand and had to get a stroller on the bus and 3 other kids seated. He was so patient and always smiling, he talked to the kids in a loving way even though they were tired and cranky. His youngest decided he wanted his shoes off and was determined to keep them off. But his dad remained calm and carried the boy and pushed the stroller off the bus. I was so amazed how a man could be so calm, smiling and relaxed dealing with four kids with a broken hand. You have been spotted Dad!
This evening just before close at the automotive department at the East End Wal Mart I needed to have my wiper blades changed since one of them decided to break during the wind rain and cold
I just want to say thank you again to the gentleman that put my new wiper blades on in that nasty weather
You told me you were off the clock and did it for me anyway
You went above and beyond and for that you have been spotted
Thank You
