I got a phone call at 7:45 this morning (the message was a little "mumbly" because my phone/ answering machine is rather old) that ran as follows: "This is for (Name). I am (Name) from (Name of Organization); I just took your dad to the hospital, please call me."
The problem was, they had called the wrong number and did not leave a number that I could call back. I didn't hear the name of what I think was an organization clearly, so I called the only organization that I could think of that sounded similar to it. They said it didn't sound like a message they were trained to use but would check into it.
I am hoping the matter is cleared up by now, but ... if you live in the Windsor area and you have an elderly father, you might want to check on him.

To the young girl and her grandfathe in tim Hortons at devonshire this morning. I understand that being young (12-13) and hanging out with your older grandfather can be quite unappealing, but one day you'll look back and be greatful for these moments.


To the grand father, her sass will fade but a fierceness will remain in her to great things. And although you have the ability to laugh it off now I can see that their is a level of pride in your eyes.

Heading home from work this morning, I decided to treat myself to some Timmy's since I had to stay up later than I usually do. As I'm in the drive thru line on Ottawa and Kildere, I notice the bumper stickers on the black SUV in front of me. "My Ontario includes Pit Bulls" and "Punish the Deed, Not the Breed".
When I get up to the window, the cashier informs me that "he paid for it" as the SUV ripped out onto the street. I hear about paying it forward, and I've done it the odd time, but I have never before had it happen for me.
So thank you Black SUV Pit Bull guy from the Yellow Cobalt. 😄☕️

my mom and I were at the freshco on tecumseh and Ford and we were just checking out all of our groceries and my mom was short $1.70 so while my mom was looking for money the lady behind paid the $1.70 for us. Just thought it was very kind of her, so thank you ! :)

To Elliot the Shift Leader at Mastermind Toys across from Devonshire Mall. I came into the store this evening with the intent of buying only the kitchen set for the Our Generation dolls. You were kind enough to check to see if it would be going on sale for Black Friday. When you found out it wasn't going on sale, you offered me additional savings on my purchases to make up for it. Once the purchases were wrapped, you even helped bring everything out to the car. You are a fantastic, friendly shift leader with great customer service skills!

Just wanted to thank all the people who responded to my posts regarding pick ups for Coats 4 Kids. I made 4 trips around the city and county over the past 3 weeks and I filled my car all 4 times with generous donations for a worthy cause. I am not affiliated with the actual organization, I just wanted to help get coats to the drop off location so people can be warm this winter. THANK-YOU to all the people , most of you complete strangers, that helped me help others this season!
