Thanks to the female employee at Shoppers on Banwell and Tecumseh Rd for trying to get my vehicle out of the parking lot. I had my 2 young daughters with me and after an hour of trying to get out of the lot, you offered to push my vehicle out.
And to the plow driver with his truck running and sitting idle in the lot, why not put that truck to use? That IS why they pay you!!

. Today was a bad day for driving. I'm sure it was for everyone in Windsor. I originally was going to put this one as a bad posting, but decided I'd rather point out the positives more than the negatives. Today my friend and got stuck in his car, int he middle of the road. While most of the drivers in other cars aggressively honked, A few gentleman came out after minutes of me trying to do this by myself. Through out the day I was more so upset that people instead of helping, just honked at us. But it eventually occurred to me that the fact that you guys finally came to help out was more important than the people who didn't. It wasn't me who was really suffering for being stuck int he snow. I didn't have a deadline to be anywhere. It was the other drivers who literally just sat in their cars behind us waiting for us to move who probably had somewhere to be. So thank you again to you guys, and I'll be sure to return the favor if I see someone in the same situation in the wretched weather. Drive safe Windsor. And remember, be kind and helpful your neighbors. You may be the one who needs help one day!

Tonight on our anniversary we got stuck in the snow going out for dinner four times. Everytime we did someone new helped us! Thank you very much to the man clearing the home depot on walker parking lot tonight! We would probably still be stuck there if it wasn't for you!

Tonight around 10:30pm I was driving home from a visit and of course, I got stuck in the snow. Being that it is my first year having to drive in this weather, I was very nervous to have to head out in it in the first place. I headed down Francois Blvd and I was going to turn left onto Seminole and boom, my car failed me (or perhaps my driving skills.) A black truck approached behind me so I put my hazards on and waved for them to pass me. To my surprise two young men got out of the truck and came to speak to me and ask if I needed help. They successfully helped get my car out of the snow after several minutes of trying. I am relieved that our city has such kind and helpful people who are willing to go out of their way to help others. A big thanks again to these young men and I will be sure to do the same for the next person I see stuck in the snow.

This weather is hard on everyone, especially the young mom trying to get to the bus stop today at walmart, with snow so high her stroller wouldn't budge!
I stopped to offer them a ride and realized I had no carcseat in my vehicle, determined to get this woman and baby home we walked into the store to buy a car seat....
Then three women walked in after us, offering her and her baby a ride home ( w a car seat), I believe you said you were from London just visiting In windsor! You have been spotted!!!

Last night my husband, my toddler, and I went to the Fox & Fiddle for dinner. We were actually going somewhere else but there was a 45 minute wait for a table so we decided to try somewhere else. We stumbled upon it while driving down Walker and can I just say Thank God we did!! It was really nice, clean, and the fact that there were lots of booths was something we liked right away (much easier to eat comfortably in a booth where your toddler can't make a run for it! The service was absolutely amazing! The staff was so nice! The food was absolutely delicious! My daughter loved her burger, I loved my Thai stir fry, and my husband loved his Mediterranean burger (which is not normal cuz he typically hates eating at restaurants). I wish I remembered our waitresses name because she was very sweet with my daughter and also very well informed on everything we had to ask about the menu. And as we were leaving some of the staff came and talked to my daughter and made sure she got lots of treats from their treasure chest of toys! She is still wearing one of the many rings and bracelet they gave her! Thanks for making our night out great! We don't get them often! We will def be going back there for dinner soon!! I suggest everyone go there and check it out! Prices were great too!

To the man driving the jeep in the forestglade area clearing the roads and everyons driveways u have been spotted. Its nice to know there are ppl out there who think of others. Ty so much
