Paying for someones Order at McDonalds Drive Thru

Today while I was at Work (McDonald's) in the Drive Thru, a customer (1st Car) paid for her order and then asked what the next car order was and paid for them. The 2nd car was so grateful that she asked what the next car (3rd car) order was How much was it and paid for it. I was so grateful and wonderful to see God at work to bring joy on 2 customers to save a little money.

To the Lady in the 1st Car who did the first good deed, Thank you for being so Kind and generous, God will reward you.

Golden Service

A few weeks ago I went to the jewellery repair store at Sears, Devonshire Mall, because my Swarovski necklace needed a new clasp. The lady there told me it would have to get shipped away and gave me MANY price options. I left a little disappointed as I didn't want to spend so much to repair something so small, but the necklace has sentimental value to me so I was considering it. Then last night I went to Golden Time at the same mall... the girl there fixed it in less than 5 minutes and charged me peanuts! I was so happy!

Thank you Golden Time for your great, quick and honest service!!

Awesome ambulance attendents

On Saturday, I had a horrible fall at Oijibway Park, I was with a friend and my daughter, Ambulance was called and quickly arrived and found us. (We were far into the park) I was in tremendous pain and they worked hard to get me comfortable. After about an hour and a half , working in the cold and all bent over , we were ready to start our way to ambulance, only problem, snow made it impossible to bring stretcher, so they used a chair and rigged up some straps to hold my leg up. It took lots of muscle and time , but we eventually made it. These 3 attendants were so patient with me. Even came back and checked on me. I spent 4 days in hospital , and have to have surgery, so I am just writing this now , but they have been on my mind. I only remember the one attendants name...Rick...so to Rick , your female partner and the student you were training, you have been SPOTTED. Thanks for your compassion and extreme patience. I will never forget. My hero's.

suicide hill stranger danger by accident...

so on the way back from dinner at red lobster with my mom and headed to tim hortons on tecumseh just east of drouillard, we got to talking about how people wanted to make tobogganing illegal and how kids are losing reasons and ways to go outside and just play. when we pulled into the drive thru, we noted across the street two girls just happened to be tobogganing on what used to be known as suicide hill? anyways, without thinking. I asked the girl at drive thru to throw on two hot chocolates to our order figuring we would bring them over to the girls' parents and let them disperse the chocolat-y goodness. when we pulled up to the van we assumed held parents and I got out, the van was empty. I asked the girls (atop the hill) if their parents were in the van and they said they weren't. feeling a little creepy now with no adult to turn to, I left the hot chocolate for them and said they were welcome to it, to which they shook their heads longingly no (parenting win btw)..

when I got in the car, my mom pointed out how officially creepy we were and that we should have prepaid for the hot chocolates and let the girls go get them on their own. I am so, so, so.. so very sorry. hindsight is 20/ 20 and what I thought would qualify as a good deed for the day probably wigged ur kids out. admittedly, if ever the day comes when I have kids and they tell me a stranger at the park offered them hot chocolate, I'm taking my dog and a large blunt object to said park to find this person. total fail on my part.

so to the parents of the young girls who will probably be on their way home soon to report a strange lady with hot cocoa.. again. so sorry. u should however be very proud that when little sis deferred to big sister, she "no thank-you'd" the hot chocolate and stayed put atop the hill. I truly meant no harm but thought u would like to know that ur kids actually listen to what you say :)

my baddness.

sincerely,
the accidental fail lady who very much hopes there isn't an APB out for her arrest :$

To the man who didn't hesitate to help someone in need.

This morning around 7:30am I was driving down Banwell @ Tecumseh when a man in his wheelchair was crossing the street. He got stuck because of the snow and couldn't make it onto the sidewalk. A guy in a van instantly stopped & jumped out to help this poor man. Nowadays people are in such a rush to get from A to B and many would have just driven by. So thank you to the man in the van who reminded me that we still do have some thoughtful, kind people out there!!

Transit windsor co workers

Today after my shift I walked out to my car to find I had a flat. Gerardo one of my co workers said we can fix it right now, I said are you sure its really cold out here? He said open your trunk. He proceeded to change my tire while two more of my co workers stopped to lend a hand Nick and Gord. The tire would not come off so I talked to the garage manager (Rick) who told Randy (mechanic) to bring the sledge hammer to see if we could get the tire off. That worked and it was not long before I was on my way. I can't thank these gentleman enough for helping me. It was freezing out and they all stayed with me until I was on my way. Thank you guys you are my new hero's and you have been spotted!
