Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Today I saw a bus driver actually have the time to wait for a girl who was running for the bus and you already started to pull away. Most times either the bus driver just pulls away without seeing the person or he/ she dont care because they have to keep the schedule. Kudos to the driver of bus 617 Ottawa 4 going east at 3 15 pm at the market
I just wanted to give major shout out to the amazing medics at the University of Windsor Emergency Response Team. I see you guys going through residence halls and responding across campus, but never gave much thought to the important role you guys play on campus until I needed your services a few weeks ago. You guys did a great job tending to my emergency, making sure I knew exactly what was going on, and keeping me calm.
So for everything you do to help keep our campus safe, thank you!

I'd like to spot all the personal support workers at Extendicare Tecumseh Nursing Home, for all the hard work you do everyday for all of your residents. You have one tough job and I don't think any of you get half of the credit you deserve! You're all amazing people and should be very pleased with yourselves for what you do on a daily basis, I think i speak for everyone when I say YOU'RE APPRECIATED! Thank you for all that you do.
I leave for work at 4:30 in the morning and i always stop at timmies on front rd and international in lasalle. Tracey and Linda are always there to greet me with a smile...they know my order and I never leave without hearing "have a great day" sometimes as I approach the drivethru window, the sound of laughter from these two amazing ladies makes me smile and I laugh along with them as they share their hi-jinxs with me. The long ride to work is made more enjoyable when these lovely people put a smile on my face. Thank you ladies...you have been SPOTTED.
There was a cute filipino girl i met at the mall. She asked me if she could wear my scarf out of no where and started to ask me questions about what I do at school. She was doing a social experiment about looking into the personal lives of people. I told her what I thought about it when she asked and gave me my scarf and a hug. Then she had to leave. I wish I asked for her name and her number.. ;-;
I had to go to Windsor Regional Hospital yesterday at the Metropolitan Campus. It was for the dreaded colonoscopy. It was my first one and I was a little anxious to say the least. Mary my nurse on the endoscopy floor was amazing. She made me so comfortable and had the sweetest way about her. We even had a laugh about them seeing our bums.She made a nerve wracking experience more relaxing. She also phoned my home later in the day to let me know I forgot my elbow brace there. Mary you deserve to be spotted. Thanks
Spotted today at the laudromat at Parent and Tecumseh.
To the young man who saw me struggling with my 3 full, heavy bags of laundry, trying to make it inside in 1 trip instead of 2. One of the bags slipped out of my hand and landed in a big puddle. You were just about to get in your car but came to my rescue, picked up the bag in the puddle and took another one from me and asked if you could help me get them inside. You not only brought them in but took them to the exact spot I wanted to go to.
I thanked you in person but your act of kindness has stayed with me all day, you don't know how much I appreciated your help. You brightened my day and I hope you had a good one too.
It's brilliantly camouflaged but check out this Eastern Screech Owl at Ojibway Park.
