Batman VIP at Met

This morning I had to take my 3 year old to WRH-Met. I want to thank the entire x-ray department for the excellent care and making him feel like VIP for 10 minutes. He arrived excited to see his insides and I was worried he'd leave disappointed or scared. But after we left he said "Mumma, I like those people! Can we go visit them again? They are my new friends!” I hope we do not have to come back but I love the fact he thinks it's a place he can visit friends rather than be scared and never want to come back. So to the staff -Thank you for making our visit exceptional and treating my Batman like a little VIP. All of you are fantastic!

Dancing Tatooed Guy @ Mr Meat

On Saturday I walked into a very full Mr. Meat store and while waiting to check out the specials, I must have let a line of whatever music was on, escape my lips. (I am always singing in my head but don't do it well so not out loud). This tall tattooed guy noticed (I apologize if I know you from somewhere, my memory is poor) and said something about getting down to the jam as he smiled and danced a bit. I found this to be hilarious but was a little out of it and so it probably came off more as disdain. Just wanted to say that I laughed about this all the way home. I'm not always that uptight!

Good Samaratin at Devonshire Mall

Sunday afternoon April 12 my daughter and I went to the Target Store at Devonshire Mall to pick up some racks that she purchased from the store. We came prepared with lots of tools because we knew we would have to take them apart to fit in our van. My daughter tried a few of the tools we had brought but unfortunately nothing was working. I even went into the mall to purchase something I thought would work, and she was able to get some the screws out, but not all of them. While we were working on trying to get it apart, several people passed by and looked but nobody stopped to ask if they could help.. After quite some time my daughter decided to go across the street to the Dollarama to see if she could get an allen wrench that we needed to get it apart. A few minutes after she left a vehicle pulled up in front of where were were parked and stopped.. The gentleman got out and asked if we needed help. I explained that my daughter just wented to see if she could find the tool we needed, but he said he had one and proceeded to use it to take out the screws so we could take it apart and put it in our van.
Thank you very much we could have been there for several more hours if not for your help. You sir have been SPOTTED.

To all those who helped us find our missing dogs

Tonight in the west end of windsor our two huskies got out. I want to send a shout out to the group of kids who were hanging out at the assumption school and called me as soon as they saw my dog and held onto him for me! A second shout out is to the people who found our girl dog and heard us calling for her and put her on a leash and walked around looking for us! Some people would have kept them or just let them go or even worse.. She wasn't wearing a tag like our other one was and we were so heart broken and worried. Both of our babies are safe and sound now thank you guys ! Happy to know there are some good hearted people out in windsor still.

Tim Hortons...one more reason to love them!

We were out and about enjoying the beautiful weather today! Our children enjoyed their day at the park...sun was shining and everyone was smiling.
We stopped in at the Tim Hortons on Chandler and Tecumseh for some snacks. A young lady took our order...our order included two medium Ice Capp's.
Well, we got two large ones with a big smile!
The young man who prepared them and served them told us he knew we ordered medium but we could have large ones. I had a very shocked look on my face and even hesitated.
He told that it was okay, I deserved it and to
have a great day! I was actually still shocked and at a loss for words...which doesn't usually happen to me. I smiled, thanked him and yes, I did tip him.
Young man...you REALLY made my day! You have no idea how much your words
meant...mean to me. It may have felt awkward to speak those words to a complete stranger but words are powerful. Everyone needs
encouragement and affirmation....Thank-you
and keep up the good work!

Someone very nice who was at Burger king at the corner of Tecumseh and McDougall

I had stupidly left my cell phone in the washroom. I don't know if someone found it or if an employee did, but whoever did, I got a call from one of the employees. My presumption is that one of the customers had found it and turned it in.

As someone who's had a wallet not returned recently, I can say this is very nice and I was very pleasantly surprised that someone took the bother to return it.

Thanks to the customer who found it, or if it was an employee for taking the bother to call through the list of people on it until you got to my home number.

This is very much appreciated either way.
