Very grateful for the man on County Rd 10 and Howard this afternoon around 1:30. He and his quick reaction possibly saved 3 lives (including mine!). While I was stopped at the stop sign an older woman who was lost and distracted turned left into oncoming traffic. I'm not sure how he managed to swerve into a right turn and miss both her and me. Then he asked if she was ok, offered her water, waited for her to recover, and let her follow him back into Windsor as she had gotten completely turned around. It was quite the near miss! Wish I had done better at thanking him.

This is my momma, and our family pet. Tosha is 15 years old and suffering in her last few years. It pains us so much to have to let her go. She is from Windsor. The problem is that we can't afford to cremate her and bring her home, we cannot fathom having to let her go forever and not have her with us. The cost of bringing her home is too great for my mom who is on disability pension and I really want to help get her the financial means to send Tosha over the Rainbow bridge and back home to our hearts. Please, if you can even donate $5 dollars to Tosha's Retirement fund it will help us to bring her home.

I know this is a weird question to ask, but I'm looking to know if anyone can tell me where I may be able to purchase the leanest/ healthiest ground beef, here in Windsor. Is there a special meat market I can go to? I would appreciate the help and information :) I compete in fitness competitions, and lately I've noticed the Extra Lean Ground beef at Wal-Mart is good, but wondering if there is something better out there lower in fat.
