Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the people in the white Chrysler in front of us Timmies today. (Crawford/ Wyandotte). You Totally made our day! This is my Fiancés mom's first time in Windsor, and She'd only been in town for less than an hour, and you showed her why we love it here. THANKS for the coffee!
Security guard found helping a child around Argyle street to find his mom. The Security guard drove around the street saw a child by him self and reversed back to help him! Great Job Sir!
On Sat. May 16, my client (a girl with a disability) and I were in line at Starbucks in the Devonshire Mall. She was a bit overexcited and kept leaving the line to walk to the counter to watch the barista prepare coffee. She ended up chatting with a lovely family in line ahead of us. She said "kifak" (how are you?) to the family and was really interested in meeting their young daughter. When I went to pay, I found out that the family had paid for my tea and my client's hot chocolate. Thank you for brightening our day through your thoughtful gesture!!!
I bought patio chairs at Walmart today and was struggling to get them into my car. A Good Samaritan came along and tried to assist me in my struggle. After a bit of reconfiguring they just weren't going to fit. This great guy offered to deliver them to my house. Thanks again. There really are nice people amongst us! Thank you again!
At the lcbo on Saturday May 16 in Tecumseh I met Darek from Warszawa, we had a chat about Polish beer and pierogi, wish I caught his last name, if anyone knows him tell him natalia would love to get some pierogi and beer with him sometime!
Just wanted to shout out to a great person named Melissa F. She took time out of her day to drive across the city to give a friend of mine several baby items that she desperately needed. Including buying her bottles etc. There is hope for humanity after all. YOU Melissa, have been spotted!
I have got to tell you.every time I go out in the community to ask about donations from businesses for Liam's benefit the people are so kind and so generous it's amazing..say what you want about Windsor but it is full of fantastic people, Liam is my grandson
We were at the Michigan Diner On Mothers Day, and while the visit wasn't the best, as it was extremely busy and I don't think the kitchen could keep up for their first Mothers Day at this location. This employee, who was running around and clearing tables, needs to be spotted. As soon as a table cleared, he was on it. As soon as he noticed my plate and others, being finished and off to the side, he ran over and offered to take it. Amazing work ethnic was noted this day. Keep up the good work. The diner benefited from you greatly that night.
