My Mother,Grandmother and myself decided to have lunch today at Uptown after receiving some not quite favorable news today about my Grandmothers health. During our lunch my Grandmother became quite emotional which in turn caused my Mother and myself to also become emotional as well. At this time we decided it would be best to be on our way. We ask to have our lunch packed up. After doing so the wonderful lady who waited on us informed us that the young man at the next table paid for our lunch. We would like to say thank you so much. Your kindness will never be forgotten. You proved that there really is still goodness even through the toughest of times. Thank you. God Bless
Thank you to the wonderful gentleman who showed up to my mother's house on his motorcycle to return her purse that he found just a couple days after our van had been broken into and it had been stolen. People always have negative judgements on bikers, and this is something to show that they're completely wrong. My mother is so grateful for it being back in her possession. Thank you for taking your time and returning it to her, you truly restored my faith in humanity! May good karma come your way for that!!!
This post is to recognize the great customer service that I received today from Valerie, who is a cashier at the East Windsor Walmart location. She was very patient, kind and helpful. She did a fabulous job with making me feel like a valued customer. It is associates, like Valerie, who should be rewarded for the wonderful service skills and efforts that they put forth to aid in their company's success. I hope that you will be rewarded for your efforts once management/ head office receives my note about you. Thanks, Valerie!
The parents on SR T-ball Forest Glade "blue" would like to give a big shout out to two awesome Auxiliary officers. On Thursday night at the Forest Glade diamonds, it was so nice to see the two patrolling officers taking some time to throw a ball around to the kids. The smiles on their faces as they ran to catch some pop flies was priceless...the officers were smiling too :)
Just nice to see that even in uniform theres a kid in all of us. Keep up the great work!! :)
I have the wonderful privilege of being the older sister of Miss Teen Canada United Nations. My sister is super involved with the Windsor Essex community- Down Town mission, Tree planting, Run for Rocky, Cystic Fibrosis Princess Ball and so much more! Also at only 17 was able to be a published writer in Biz X magazine. She at such a young age has done so much to help the city we live in and inspire others to come along and join in this journey. She was Miss Teen Windsor..which to some who frown upon pageantry, this world gave a timid girl in soccer cleats a voice and platform and the drive to want to make changes and be heard. She put on heals and stood tall and took command of charities close to her heart and works hard to do them and the people they help proud. Tomorrow that young lady is competing in a worlds pageant in Jamaica representing not only Canada but Windsor, and its not just to win a crown, but to win a platform to help so many more people around the World and for that i am truly proud of her. Good luck tomorrow baby sister! You deserve that and so much more! You know you have so many people here rooting for you!!! & lt;3 CANADA AND WINDSOR LOVE YOU CHELSEA!!!
Yesterday we had to put our 10 year old Golden down. It is heartbreaking to make the decision that is best for our fur baby. But the bill to do it...was outrages!!
Why can there not be a compassion fund for this situation?? Everytime a purchase or payment is made at a vet's office, why can't $.50 or $1.00 go towads a fund for our fur babies that have to be put down. Why does that moment have to come down to making a profit still. Why can't some of the stress be taken off the owners. Our bill was $224 for sedation and 2 injections, second one seemed unnecessary, measure out enough for the first one....Just a thought for any vets or vet technicians....we pay enough to keep our pets healthy....give the parents of the fur babies a break!!
Please no rude comments....the day is tough enough as it is.
