Thanks you the kind hearted young men who went out of their way for my son.

My son broke his Tibia on Thursday, July 16th, and on our way home from the hospital at 3:00am we stopped so he could use the McDonald's washroom on Drouillard and Tecumseh. A truck full of young men were also heading into the McDonald's. Not only were they sharing kind words of encouagment to him while holding the doors for us but, seeing my son's frustration with me telling him to use the women's washroom so I could help him, they generously assisted him into the bathroom and encourageed him to use a stall so he was more comfortable and caught him when he slipped and almost fell on the slippery floor, and then helped back out of the washroom. I'm so happy to see that some of the younger generation (in their 20's) are willing to go out of their way to be so kind and helpful. Thank you so much.

Out of Gas

Something happened to me yesterday todaythat tears to my eyes but in a good way! Being the idiot i am instead of getting gas first I did what I had to do and then was going to get gas... Of course I did not make it to the gas station! As I was pulled over on the side of the road trying to reach my husband and freaking out about what I was going to do a young man I'm guessing in his early twenties rode by me on his bicycle, I called him over explain to him what had happened then he quickly asked if there is anything he could do to help me out. He did not hesitate off he went on his bike to the nearest gas station, which I might add was not close to where I was waiting, to get the gas and bring it back to me! My faith in mankind has been restored today.... To this young man who rode his bike to the gas station to get the gas for me then proceeded to put it in and wish me a good day as he rode off on his bike I cannot thank you enough today you are my hero!

Party at highjinx

DreamMakers threw a wonderful party in celebration of their first year, not only did all the kids enjoy themselves but the adults did too! All the characters were on point and did a wonderful job, Spider-Man inperticular stood out as I have boys and they did not leave him alone for a second, he ran around and played and kept up with the best of them, best Spider-man I've ever seen! He was so great with all the kids and made a great party even better! He mentioned he would be leaving for Toronto, you will be sadly missed by all kids who have had the pleasure of having you at their party! Our family wanted to wish you all the best in your future career, your one of a kind! Thanks for making our boys day, they haven't stopped talking about how awesome Spider-Man is!
Thanks to DreamMakers for the invite to a great party!

So while my sister and I were struggling to get this huge stroller packaging into my teeny tiny little fiesta at the Walmart on dougall, a very nice man and his son generously stopped to help us, realizing that it surely wouldn't fit, he offered to put it in his truck & follow us home. We offered to pay him gas, but he wouldn't accept it. So to this very nice man, THANK YOU! You're kindness was truly appreciated and I wish nothing but happiness your way!

To Kathryn, the kind worker at Silver City who took our tickets. This kind woman went out of her way to make sure everyone who passed by her felt welcome and knew when they're theatre was ready. Even though people were rude (ignoring and staring at her), it didn't shake her positive attitude. Keep up the good work, we could use more positivity and kindness!

Thank you!!!!

Tonight was my birthday celebration. It started July 18th and ended on July 19th. It was a wonderful night until I got home and realized I didn't have my phone. My amazing friend helped me retrace my steps back to the bull and barrell. She went in (left my Id at home) and I stayed at the gate praying, my friend came running out with my phone. So the point to this, is to say thank you you to the kind patron who turned my phone in, you have no idea what this means to me. Thank you for not taking it as I am a single mom and cant afford a new phone, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Today I went I to taco bell on huron church for dinner. They were completely understaffed and very busy. The cashier was a young girl who was running around and seemed overwhelmed but she didnt lose her cool or her humour. She apologized and made jokes about it. Even though they messed up my order and I had to go back, the staff made up for it by fixing it and giving us more for the trouble. You guys have been spotted for dealing with the public with good grace and humour. Keep it up! Nice to see good customer service for once!
