Canada post

So my 5 yr. old autistic son and I were going on our morning walk, which we've been practicing for a couple months now and need a lot of motivation to complete safely. We got to our last long stretch of block before home, and ran into our mailman. This guy is awesome and does a great job, with a smile on his face every day. Well today sir you put the biggest smile on my sons face the whole way home. You waved at him at least a hundred times, made honking noises, raced pass us delivering mail, than would let us pass you. Then finally we got home and you pulled up your truck, as my son waited on the porch for you. You came up and handed him the only piece of mail today and it so happened to be an autism magazine. You have no idea how much that meant to him, being he has an obsession with mailmen, garbage men, and construction men right now. These mail men and women are much more than just mail delivers, and this is why we need to save our door to door...thank you Mr. Mailman

Windsor Police kindness

Sitting in line at Tim Hortons this morning on Lauzon and Wyandotte....when I pulled up to pay, the officer in front of me bought my steeped tea! How nice is that? Brought a smile and bright moment to my day! Thank you!

Wallet returned

Went to Shoppers after work. Wallet got stolen. Mall security was awesome, but didn't find it....get home and start cancelling stuff, and get a phone call from "Justin" who found my wallet in the parking lot, and had already been to my house to return it while I was searching with Mall Security.
The cash is gone but so what...everything else is still in there!
THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE STILL!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Citizens Making a Difference!

Oliver Swainson and Bob Hodge must be recognized as heroes. These individuals saw a problem in Windsor and took action. They have formed a Facebook group to help prevent/ recover stolen bicycles. Rather than hoping someone else solved this ongoing problem, they jumped in and said "We can make a difference." Through word of mouth, FB traffic and a recent segment on the local news, 'Stolen Bikes of Windsor' has grown to almost 1000 members. These gentleman have accomplished this in a focused and respectful manner. Oliver & Bob's efforts have been noticed by the WPS culminating in a face to face meeting.

They are admirable examples of everyday citizens making a difference. Good on you, gents!

Momma Sue

on Tuesday I stopped at seven eleven to get gas and my kids a treat. When I relized I had forgot my wallet . Then I went to start my truck and it would not start. We asked a few people to help me and no one had time. So now I have two upset children no help. About ten minutes went by and a nice lady came and asked if I needed help. I told her my whole story and she said let me grab my stuff and I will help. She returned quickly with two bags . She said here is a bag for each child so if you want to get the kids settled I will boost your truck. She pulled her truck over and put the cables on and started my truck. I thanked her so much and she walked away. After I thought I should had got her name . I do remember seeing the back window as she pulled away and it said Momma Sue on it. So Momma Sue you have been spotted for being so kind to myself and my two children. I could not help but notice your big smile as you helped us. I hope someone pays it forward to help you. Thank Kathy

Nicest server !

An old woman was ahead of me at the Timmies on Tehcumseh/ Chandlar. She had lost her wallet, and was about to leave a worker spoke up. I see him daily, and he's always super polite. Today he took it further by offering to pay for whatever the woman had wanted. She was in shock, and glowing about the situation. She continued to thank the boy over and over and he paid for her Meal and even brought it out to her. He's probably the hardest worker there, and always has a smile on his face. His name was Jesse. Not only did he make her day, he made mine. So thank you!

Springz windsor birthday party

A few weeks ago I went to Springz for a birthday and the party host was named Leah. It was our first time there and we didn't know much about the waiver stuff but She did an excellent job with hosting and my child and the other kids had a great time. She is a hard worker and clearly loves her job. We will come back for sure since Springz has a great environment of friendly staff
