Careless driver

On Friday September 17th at around 1:20pm my daughter was driving home from St Clair Collage. I taught her the correct way to proceed through the round-a-bout and told her a lot of people don't know how or don't care. While in the proper lane to drive east towards Essex, a male driver in a black car decided to drive right across the lane and cut her off almost hitting her front end. Her reaction was to hit the brakes to avoid hitting him, and caused her to go into a spin. She then ended up slamming into a guard rail and wrecking her means of transportation because of your ignorant decision to cut her off and leaving the scene of the accident. As my daughter sat in her car and everyone driving by and not helping her, a very nice lady going into Windsor saw her and knew she was upset. This nice lady went through the round-a-bout and stopped to help her out and stayed with her until I got there. I did not get her name but would like to thank her for her kind act... As for the driver that cut my daughter off you are a low life moron and that is putting it light as I cannot say here what I really feel.. Thank you for destroying her car putting her in the hospital and causing all this heart ache for her.. People of Windsor DO NOT know how to use a round-a-bout at all and the officer that attended the scene also agrees with me.. I hope the person that caused this reads this and knows exactly what he has done.

Humbled WPS Auxiliary Constables @Route 42

After finishing a recruitment presentation at St Clair college 5 of us Windsor Police Auxiliary Constables went out for a group breakfast at Route 42 Diner. It was a busy (late) morning there and we were all chatting having a good time. When we were finished our delicious breakfast the waitress came over to clear our table and mentioned someone had anonymously paid for all 5 of our meals. We immediately asked to meet the person to thank them for the gesture and insist on paying for our own meals but the waitress told us that you wanted to stay anonymous. We sat there with our jaws dropped to the floor not knowing what to say. We were in awe. We have all committed ourselves to the WPS Auxiliary to serve our community and for someone to make that unexpected gesture was such a humbling feeling of appreciation for all of us. So to the kindhearted person who paid for our breakfast. THANK YOU. You've been Spotted! Next time breakfast is on us.

Pay it Forward

Went out to breakfast this morning. The lady beside us was very friendly and said out kids were adorable and said hello to out little guy. As she left she said have a good day and that we had a beautiful family. we continued to eat our food and asked for out bill when we were done. the waitress informed us that the lady who had been siting beside us had paid for our food already. Its so amazing to see that there at still people out there that try to make other peoples day better. Thank you so much for blessing my family today. Will be paying it forward.

Lost, Found & Fixed New Glasses!

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I attended a concert at Caesar's Colosseum. Upon returning home, we realized that his brand new pair of prescription glasses had been lost during the evening. After checking with Security at Caesar's a few times in the past 2 weeks, the glasses were finally found. Sadly, they were badly damaged and the frame broken, quite likely the result of having fallen out of his pocket and being stepped on at the end of the concert. Thankfully, the lenses were still in remarkably good condition.

This morning, I brought the pieces to Ted at Hakim Optical (near Tecumseh Mall) where we had purchased them. He had the identical frame in stock and replaced it immediately at no charge (Hakim has a great warranty program!). Within 10 minutes, the glasses were just like new again!

Thanks to the staff at Caesar's for finding and documenting the glasses so they could be returned to us and to Ted at Hakim for outstanding service! Great way to end the week!

Babies R Us

As a breastfeeding mother I cannot express enough how difficult it can be to be out and about with my little one. Today while in Babies R Us my little one got fussy. I took the little one to the bathroom and there is not only a change station but a comfortable chair to sit and nurse the baby. Thank you Babies R Us half the time bathrooms don't even offer a baby changing station nevermind a chair to breastfeed!

Northern Reflection Tecumseh Mall ... service rocks!!

The young lady working at Northern Reflection this morning between 11 and noon could NOT have been more helpful !!!!!! She helped this "older generation lady" put together some great outfits so I could mix and match (which I am usually unsuccessful at !) ..... and suited my "a few pounds overweight" frame !!! Thank you so much for all your patience and the time you spent with me .. also for making sure I took advantage of the Buy 2 get 1 free !!!!!! I'm leaving Windsor relocating to beautiful B.C. and I'll leave with good memories of superior customer service at the Tecumseh Mall.
