Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I would like to thank all the generous patrons of the Real Canadian Super Store on Dougall Ave. I would also like to thank the management for allowing us to be set up in your store. My daughter set up a lemonade stand to raise money for the CIBC Run for the Cure. The kindness and generosity that people showed really touched our hearts. Thank you for supporting such a great cause and for making my daughter feel so proud of herself by raising these funds. Hopefully in my lifetime there will be a cure, and she will not have to worry about this. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts :)
While checking out shower stalls with my children you took it upon yourself to scold my son... How dare you!!!! I thought you said something nice but when my son turned to me he was clearly shaken. Your lucky you were a few more isles over and my children were having too good of a time to let mamma bear out on you.... My children have no father and I take them out for simple things like letting them pick and design their own bathroom for their new house..... Next time lady chill or learn about what being thankful for the blessings of your day are. Stop being so miserable you have to pick on children..
I want to thank the nursing staff at Met Hospital for giving my sister the wonderful care she received ,and for all the kindness you showed myself and my siblings during this hard time. I don't know your names but face I will remember. On behalf of my entire family thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
To the young man driving the black GMC Acadia on ouellette street this afternoon around 530pm: you got out of your car at a super busy intersection to help push a man struggling to get across in a wheelchair. You than managed to run back to your car before the light changed (very fast)! My boyfriend and I have spotted you and would like to say thank you! You should have seen his smile as you drove away. This has definitely inspired me to do a good deed today :)
A spot for you miss, you were 3 maybe 4 years old, and I was filling my drink at the Dan Dan Asian diner last night around 5PM. You were there with your older sister, mom and dad... I was having a particularly bleak day, when you came over to me, said Hi, then told me I looked pretty. Your bright eyes and wide smile brightened my day. Thank you.
I want to give a big thank you to the ppl especially the lady & her son that helped me.. Today I had to run to shoppers. When I get into the parking lot, I could hear a cat just crying away. Ends up my cat got into the motor of my car. The lady & son came running over to my car to help me as I was scared to even open the hood of my car. They opened The hood & helped me get her out she was stuck. Thank you so much for your help.. I don't know what I was to do...
As I watched the ending of my son's football practice last night, I felt compelled to share my heartwarming experience. My son has made his first team, he has a learning disability, is not the most physically fit, but he has a huge heart, and wants to be on this team like his brothers were. Today as he ended his practice with his team, they ran from one side of the field to the other, at the end they had to do a crab walk (like bear crawl but reverse). Kyle was the last kid, he was joined by his coach, and then their QB, as well as other teammates (they had already finished theirs), they cheered him on and did the end with him, then held out a hand and clapped when he was done. I am very proud of you boys, you are star athletes in my eyes!! You have no idea what this meant to my son! Your parents have raised you right. Also to his coaches, who cheer him on every day. Thank you for giving a kid a chance! Massey Mustang Junior Boys you have been spotted!!
I'd like to thank the young mother who helped me today ! I was at the clinic at Walker rd. & Tecumseh rd. The x-Ray department was closed in the building and I had to find a way to hop across the parking lot to the back building and get x rays there. A young mother(with her son in stroller & daughter by her side ) stopped me and said she can help me. She pushed the stroller while I held the side and hoped beside. She walked me all the way to x rays. I really appreciated the help and would like to say Thank you.
