Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
On behalf of the Witkowski family of Windsor, I would like to express our sincerest thank you and appreciation for the respect and kindness of the drivers of the cars and trucks shown by pulling over for our funeral procession. We drove from Banwell to Heavenly Rest about 1:30 p.m on Thursday, November 7th, 2019. You've been spotted.
I was pulling into a parking spot in downtown Windsor today and a lady came up and tapped on my window. I rolled my window down and she pointed to the car in the parking spot in front of me and said it was her car and she was going to be leaving immediately and there was just slightly more than an hour left on the meter.
Thank you very much, and I will definitely pay this forward!
Just wanted to say thank you to the female officer that was extremely efficient in tracking down the "person" that broke into my car today and stole my wallet and my son's phone! You did an amazing job! Also the lady that was kind enough to take a picture of them to identify to the officer. You are a life saver! You both made one little boy and his mommy very happy!
A cadet was distributing remembrance day poppies at the Tim Hortons on Walker and Ypres; we ased the staff to set aside money so she could buy something since it is cold outside. They said they would cover the cost and make sure she received something. Just recognizing the nice gesture of the young man working the drive through window saturday @ 1030 am; towards somebody who supports us remembering the sacrifice today and years ago
Today i was xmas shopping at Walmart with my son and out of no where a man approached us and said he's just going around the store handing out walmart gift cards to people and he handed me one for $25! i noticed he had a navy blue sweatshirt with a white logo and but it all happened so fast i didnt quite catch what it said on it! I just wanted to give a shout out and say thank you!! you're awesome and you made our day! happy halloween and happy holidays!
I would like to thank the person in the Essex Tim Hortons drive thru beside McDonald's for buying breakfast for my granddaughter and myself.
That was a true treat!
A sincere thank you to the gentleman driving the Champion products truck who took the time to help me with my stalled vehicle. I was very stressed as I was keeping traffic from moving and had alot of people honking at me. Thank you and know that I will do an act of kindness in your honour today. 😀â¤ðŸ
Thurs night, Oct 31 I was driving to work and stopped at McDonald's on Drouillard for a coffee, I went through the drive thru and as I was exiting a man driving a black dodge Dakota sped very fast into the parking lot from Tec Rd. I drove behind him as he parked, I rolled down my window and told him he doesn't need to speed in a parking lot, he decided to start screaming at me, saying I was in the wrong for exiting when I did when clearly I was not in his way. He made fun of the work shirt I was wearing saying I need to get rid of my $5.00 shirt, he was yelling and swearing at me, I told him I was reporting him to the police because I have his make, model and license plate #, and he was clearly in the wrong but is just a rude , ignorant and very disrespectful person, I also have a description of the guy. You are a mean individual and should go back to driving school. I will also be contacting McDonald's corporate because I would like to know when exiting a drive thru or driving into a parking lot who exactly has the right of way?
