Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
It has been my pleasure to ring the bells for the Kettle Drive for Sally Ann at this location a couple times recently. Your charity and bright smiles bring me such joy and warmth and you are the reason I give my time in service. Thank you so much for the positive thoughts and your donations to a much needed charity. God bless you all.
Young female worker at the McDonalds in the Wal-Mart on the east end. You have been spotted!! A gentleman in a wheel chair came in and ordered a hot drink. This young worker carried the drink to his table, put a straw into it for him, and even went into his wallet (at his request) and put his hot beverage sticker on his card for him! Being the emotional person I am, I am sitting across the restaurant watching this with tears in my eyes. What seems like such a small act to some, is huge for others. Your kindness did not go unnoticed, and you, and your parents should be very proud! I hope my children grow up to be like you one day!
Signed,
Tearful Mama in the corner of the restaurant.

Wanted to send a quick shout out to the staff at Staples on Walker Rd. I've been shopping at this location for a few years and I've noticed the level of service improve dramatically. While shopping there recently, I was treated to an extraordinarily amazing experience by one of the managers, Pete. He went way above and beyond my expectations. He is kind, sincere, funny and absolutely adorable too. Thank you, Pete and thanks Staples. I will definitely be back and recommend your store to all of my friends and family. Thank you.
A special thank you to the beautiful woman on the 1C Wednesday evening.
The gift of a much needed Christmas tree was such a blessing, It is just perfect
Thank you so much! God bless, you've been spotted!
I was at The Box tonight at 5:30 and wanted to thank a special little boy named Jayden. My 3 year old daughter was looking at a frozen toy that cost 25 cents.
He explained to us how it worked. A few minutes later he came up to my daughter and said "Do you want a frozen toy"
She said yes. He put his hand out and gave her 75 cents to buy the toy. He said "I feel like I am in the Christmas Spirit"
And told us he had just received his allowence.
I almost cried!
Thank you Jayden for sharing your hard earned allowance and your generosity!
You made my daughter's day!
Merry Christmas Jayden!
Michelle (works at Western Ontario Sports Injuries and Rehab Centre) cares for an elderly man with Parkinson's. She went out of her way to help the man in purchasing a gift for his wife. Michelle made arrangements with a jewelry store ahead of time in order to make the purchase easier. She drove him to the place where he picked out a ring for his wife. Then she helped him pick a card. Michelle is a very caring and is a beautiful soul who is a great help to the elderly couple.
To the guy who was at the pioneer on Jefferson around 9:15pm (December 2nd) who was clearly on his way to a job (in a construction like vest). Thank you for telling your co-workers to wait in order to help a young girl put oil in her car since she was in desperate need and had no idea what to do. Its nice to know that Gentlemen are still around, your assistance was greatly appreciated and you have been spotted.
