Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I want to give a good spot out to all the day surgery nurses volunteers and Dr's who helped me with my surgery today Dec 7 It was a great Experience in Leamington
Sunday evening at the Zehrs on Tecumseh and Lauzon Pkwy.
Myself and my three year old boy were leaving the store The Brinks truck was there and my son spotted it. The loud sound of the truck and the size, he was in awe!
I explained to him what the truck was doing there and what their job was. We stood outside our vehicle so that he could watch them leave. Brinks noticed my little boy, drove right up in front of us, stopped, waved and sounded some alarms. You guys are AWESOME!!! It's all he talked about till bedtime. Now, he wants a Brinks truck!
Thank-you!!!
On Sunday morning Dec 6th at the Michigan Diner on Howard my daughter-in-law husband and myself had breakfast as we finished up our waitress told us when we were through to just leave that our bill had been paid for.WE asked who had paid and she did not know they were another waitress customer,as my husband is Mr social butterfly and always scans a place to see who he knows, I asked the other waitress and she did not know them,We would like to THANK the person for your generosity,We kinda thought it was someone that knew our late son and recognized our daughter-in-law.Once again THANK YOU.
I just wanted to say what a amazing young lady that works for Dr Fituri a gastroenterologist in Windsor in the 700 building. This young lady is always smiling, kind and warm hearted to her patients. She has the office decorated for Christmas with a hugh sign over her desk saying Merry Christmas. Dr Fituri is muslim and doesnt celebrate the holidays however he doesnt mind that his wonderful secretary tells each and every patient to have a very merry Christmas. I even overheard her on the phone and with every call she ends it Have a very Merry Christmas. Young lady you have been spotted and I appreciated it more then you know. God Bless you. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too!! I hope you get something very special for being a wonderful person.
To the two young girls at Walmart who were giving out candy canes to everyone shopping for Christmas on Saturday December 5... THANK YOU! This was the sweetest gesture I have witnessed, what a great mom getting your two girls to deliver such a special message and meaning to Christmas. This is what the holiday's are about. Their enthusiasm to give out the candy canes was too cute. You are doing parenting right :)
To the Costco worker today at the gas station: we saw the truck in front of us throw a piece of litter out their truck window too. We saw you pick the piece up and walk over to the truck and hand it back to them and make them take it with them to dispose of properly. A small action, but I commend you for taking pride in your city and place of employment. 😊
To the Staff at Mastermind Toys....you have without a doubt the best service as well as the most helpful staff that I have had the privilege of meeting during these crazy shopping days. There is a team of mother and daughter sales associates that go out of their way to help you find that perfect gift. As well, the cashiers are friendly, polite and smiling. These are people that truly love their job and have the true Christmas spirit. Do yourself a favour and visit this store!!
Thank you to the kind lady at Baskin and Robbins on Dougall. What a surprise to get to the cashier and discover you had treated my son and I to our ice cream. I look forward to the chance to pay it forward and surprise someone else Thank you for your holiday cheer and Merry Christmas to you!
