I was charmed yesterday afternoon by a trio of young carollers (I am guessing from the local middle school) knocking on my door, greeting me with a Christmas song, and asking if I had any tinned food for the food bank. Kudos to these young people for both spreading holiday cheer and giving up their time to help others - especially on such a cold day! When I see young people spending their time and efforts trying to help others and make the world a better place, it gives me hope for the future. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas!

Just wanted to say thank you to the person who pre-paid $10 in gas at 7/ 11 yesterday. It didn't go unnoticed and we're down on our luck right now and it put a huge smile on our face!

Last night myself along with co workers were ringing the bells for The Salvation Army Kettle at Bright Lights Windsor. A big Thank u to the lady who gifted me her FA LA LA LA Lama hat simply because I said how much I ❤️❤️❤️ her hat and asked where I could get one. She couldn't remember, proceeded to take it off stating it was brand new she had just put it on!! She insisted I take it wished me a Merry Christmas and gave me a hug!! Thank You!!! Your sweet gesture made my cold Night warmer and brighter!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!!

I would like to thank the kind gentleman who paid for my daughter and her boyfriends dinner tonight at Jose's on November 30th they truly appreciated it and i know my daughter pays it forward when she can so it's nice to see it come back to her!!

I was happily driving along EC Row west bound thinking what a wonderful weekend it has been with my beautiful daughter coming home to see me for a few days. I was on my way to deliver a Christmas tree to a lonely friend of mine who's in his 80's and just recently was put in a home and very sad. I wanted to spread some cheer and show him photos of my girl and I from last night and maybe cheer him up and let him know he's loved. When out of the blue a woman in a white SUV ( Ford I think ) pulls in front of me and slams on her brakes. Then proceeds to drive really slow from Lauzon to Howard. If I try to move past her she pulls immediately in front of me. If I tried to drive in another lane to pass she sped up or blocked me. I shrugged and put up my shoulders 🤷🏼‍♀️ I knew the man in the red truck behind me was also trying to pass. I was hoping he knew I wasn't the cause of the lanes being blocked or inconsiderateness of the woman in front. Well eventually she has to exit. Much to my enjoyment she pulls to the right and off I go. I observe the man in the pick up quickly drive past me and her !! And block her in! Slamming on his brakes. Teaching her an invaluable lesson. The look on her face and the shock and fear he put into her worked ! It was instant karma. Yes he did it very safely and not anyone else was affected. No need to comment about the safety of what he did. It was amazing. Sir, you made my day 100X better. You showed this girl unity. You may have saved her from doing this again and making her think. You're my spirit animal and I really want to talk to you. I hope you see this and we can chat for a minute. Thank you thank you thank you ! It was awesome.

Early sunday (NOV24) morning my family was victims to a theft. All but 1 of our Christmas decorations were stolen after not even being up for a week. On Tuesday a lady had stopped by after seeing us on the news and wanted to give us some indoor decorations along with a brand new grinc blow up she had purchased. We were very humbled that this lady thought of us. Today (Nov 29) i received a message through an ad on windsor buy and sell from a lady and her husband (Stephanie and Joe) who had been trying to contact me since Monday (the day after our stuff was stolen) so she finally reached me today through the buy and sell ad. She had told me her husband found all the decorations that were stolen in an alley near their house which is not far from where i live. I just want to say thank you very much to both of these great people we are extremely grateful to have all of our stuff back and one extra added decoration that we will always remember where it came from.
