Great Service

I just wanted to recognize a few staff members at the CIBC branch in Tecumseh. I waited in line their very patiently I might add in the line a couple days ago. There were two very polite and efficient girls working at the teller spots. They worked hard while under pressure from a rather long line and kept smiling. Some of the other Customers were upset that there were only four or five customer tellers there. The girl working the senior spot and the other girl second from the end kept apologizing for the wait and when my turn came up the senior desk service girl took very good care of me and didn't make me feel rushed while I was in her company. She was thorough and she even noticed my account was charging me service fees and I should not have been being charged for them. She fixed me up and even refunded my charges. The other lady came over during our transaction and needed to interrupt BUT she was apologetic, she was also trying to save someone money and needed to ask my service person some advice. When my banking was done she pleasantly returned my bankbook and thanked me for being understanding about the charges she thanked me for banking with them and being a loyal customer. These two ladies (sorry I'm not sure your names) are always going above and beyond whenever I'm in that location. I think this great service needs to be spotted!! Thank you both and I hope the other customers, staff and banks see just how well you take care of ALL the customers. You've been spotted!!

Man who saved young woman.

A man stopped a young woman from jumping off the bridge last night. He was a commuter on his way home and saw her on railing. He grabbed her and got her off. He saved her life. He should be commended for his actions.

Warm Hearts

Wonderful kind ladies made hats and scarves for an entire school of almost 300 students. The children were beaming as they walked out of school today! The detail put in to these beautiful hats and scarves must have taken ages. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!

McDonalds Drive Through

Yesterday I ordered a coffee at the McDonalds drive through on Walker road beside Costco. When I drove up to the window to pay the young lady told me it was already paid for. I was surprised and asked who, she didn't know and proceeded to tell me that the person heard my order being placed and wanted to pay for it. To this very kind thoughtful person I want to thank you for bringing a smile to my face through your generosity

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to our waitress Nicole at Eastside Marios last night. I haven't experienced such wonderful service in a long long time. Train Station Gentlemen - Sunday Night

This past Sunday, Jan 25th I had returned from Toronto with my 15 month old by train - the last train of the day, arriving at 11:20pm. It was cold, my daughter is HUGE for her age (26lbs, and not yet walking) and my husband had walked 40 minutes to meet me and help us and our things (diaper bag, stroller, etc) into a cab.

As many know, cabs are in short supply at the train station and by the time we made it to the cab stand, they were all full, mostly university students, single riders... I was exhausted from having her in my arms for 5 hours, my husband had worked all day and so we grudgingly joined the queue for the next car. A few people had noticed us struggling as I had called to cab drivers to "Please radio for more cars, there are lots of us!".

When a single woman went to take the next cab, a group of men, much further back in the line called to her, "C'mon, be nice, let the lady with the kid go!" Which was quickly echoed by people in the line "yeah", and "have a heart!". I called out a thank you to everyone as she very reluctantly gave us the cab.

It sounds silly, but as someone who routinely lets others in front of me at the grocery store, or waves a car through ahead of me at an intersection, it felt wonderful to be recognized as someone needing help. When I put my little girl down tonight, I realized I have to thank those random guys who stuck up for my family last night. You all warmed my heart that my daughter gets to grow up in a town where humanity is still alive and well. And to the lady who had to wait a few more minutes, I do appreciate you putting yourself out, and for us, it meant a LOT.
