Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I need to take this moment to say how much my faith in mankind has been restored.Today, as I travelled from Forest Glade to Heavenly Rest Cemetery in a funeral procession, I was in awe of how many cars had pulled over to the side of the road and stayed there until the last car had passed ( which was me .) It's a blessing to see that the values from the past are still alive and well in the year 2016.
Again,
A Heartfelt Thank You to each and everyone of you whomever you are !!!
Thank you to the Good Samaritan and/ or staff at Delta Logistics Transportation at 890 Walker road who kept my dog safe and off dangerous Walker road. We were worried sick and appreciate your kindness.
Thank you!
Our cat took ill over the weekend. I called the Cat Clinic of Windsor regarding her condition. They accommodated me with an appointment within a few hours. Dr. Sukhpal Gill agreed to meet us at the clinic on his way to another appointment. He performed a thorough examination and took his time in caring for my pet. He went above and beyond on short notice. A special thank you to Dr. Gill and the staff at Cat Clinic of Windsor.
Just wanted to take the time and tell everyone about my visit to Simons prime burgers in Windsor Ontario . We were visiting family went down town Windsor to eat and went here. We were waited on by the nicest young lady. Had a big smile the whole time she took our order . The best part of our visit was this female cashier went out of her way to help us with our two handicap boys. She had so much kindness to offer us. This visit was more then eating lunch. We asked the young girl her name and we believe she said it was sue Ann . Sorry if the name is wrong . She really cared about her job and it showed. Sue Ann you have been spotted . We will most definity be back.
There are many new things the spring time offers. One is new born animals, wild animals. Every night while driving by a den of baby fox there are a group of people watching them play. Watching from a distance is one thing but people are getting too close! These are wild. Wild. They can carry diseases and if they become used to people as these are, they will stay within the houses. And grow up. Where they won't be so cute anymore when they kill your cat or come into your yard and fight with your dog. Perhaps when your kids are out there too. Please think. Oh they are so cute! And oh so wild. Let's keep it that way!
I have been having bad servicw at different Tim Hortons lately with long wait times or even attitude and I have been surprised!!! THAT ALL CHANGED! I am sittig at the Tim Hortons right now at the corner of Manning and Cty Road 42 and still feeling warm about the amazing service I just had. The two ladies working were incredibly passionate about giving amazing service and have amazing smiles! This is what brings customers back to the store. Considering that Origins is across the street and I have friends in this area, I want to make this a regular place to go :) Those two angels made my night :)
To the two kind men who stop in the middle of Lauzon Parkway to help a family of geese to get to the other side you have been spotted
At approximately 3:15 I was in the drive thru at Tim Hortons for a much needed coffee, when the gentleman ahead of me was so kind to pay. Thank you. After the week I have had, your kindness did not go unnoticed. As I left the drive thru I was still right behind you and wanted to jump out of my car and say thank you, buuuut I didn't think that would make the people behind me too happy lol
So if you see this, thank you!
Sincerely,
Girl in the black Hyundai
