This morning my son, granddaughter & I go to Home Depot to get some wood for shelves he is making for her room. When we come out I find on my driver's seat the extra key fob(which is actually the 3rd one since I already had 2 that came with the truck) from the people I bought the truck from 8 months ago, so Thank You for going out of your way to give it to me!!!!! :-)
I would like to recognize the awesome cashier working the express lane and customer service counter at Food Basics (on Lauzon Rd.) this morning. Her name is Kathy, my husband and I go to her all the time because she is always so friendly. The customer in front of me dropped a paper on the floor in front of my grocery cart. Kathy asked me to pass it to her so she can give it to the lady who dropped it. She then politely asked me to wait a second so she could try to catch up to the lady and give her the paper she dropped. She came back in and said the she couldn't catch her but lady was another regular or hers and will give it to her next time she is in the store. After ringing in my groceries she looked at the paper and grabbed a phone book. I asked her if everything was ok. She replied that it was the customers paycheck and was looking up her workplace number. While I was packing my stuff, she called and let them know that the lady dropped her check and that it was at customer service. Now that needs recognition. Excellent customer service, honesty, and going out of her way to make sure the lady would get her check back. So happy there are friendly people and honest people still out there.
Thank you so much to the gentleman who approached my mom and I while we were waiting to pay to get into Art in the Park on Saturday around 2 p.m. You gave us a couple of tickets and told us to enjoy ourselves...we did and your kind gesture truly made my day! You have been spotted!
On Thursday around noon my elderly father drove his scooter up to the corner store on Jefferson and must of dropped his wallet on his way home. A teenage girl wearing a Tim Hortons uniform returned the wallet completely intact and wouldn't even take a reward for her honesty/ kindness. You have been spotted.
Hello! I just wanted to give a shout-out to the gentleman who was ahead of me in the Tim Horton's drive-thru line (off Central), around noon on Friday, June 3rd. Thank you so much for paying for my order! I was getting some much needed caffeine to get my co-worker and I through the remainder of our hectic day. Your message was to have a good day and I just wanted to let you know that you made two people's day! Thank you so much! I will definitely pay it forward :)

I wanted to talk about my experience on June 2nd at Red Lobster. I had the most amazing waitress, Lois. She was so sweet, to the point where every couple of minutes, she made sure everything was going the way it was. After we finished and the bill came, on the back of the receipt she wrote, "what a beautiful family you have." After paying, she sat down on our table and began asking questions about Islam and Ramadan. She was surprised at what our religion served and the good that comes with it. As we walked out, she told us to come visit her again.
