Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Congratulations to the Shoppers Drug Mart in the Roundhouse Centre for employing the friendliest and happiest cashier. She was truly a delight and I forgot to glance at her name tag. This was Wednesday morning. Thank you for being so cheerful!
A person went out of their way to call the business I work at to let us know that one of our employees parked on the wrong side of the road and might get ticketed.
I am about to submit my updated memoirs of being an Anonymous Kidney Donor to my Publisher and would like to pay tribute to anyone who has helped another through a Living Organ Donation. It is an amazing act on your part. You can choose to have your recipient included also. I would need all names before the upcoming Friday July 8th. I am attempting to start an information charity from the book's proceeds, and you are more than welcome to be included. tremblaygreg@yahoo.com
On Tuesday June 21st I was wheeled to the area where you were sitting in and you had my focus right away. You looked so alone and helpless I couldn't help but try to lighten your load, sitting all alone stuck in the machine called the ER. You'd been ill for weeks missing your new job, and I made you smile. You looked so pretty in a bad situation, I can't stop thinking of you. We were meeting occasionally while awaiting assistance, then you were gone.
I'm hoping you see this, as I wish to not wait until my book is published to learn how you are doing. Better I hope, as not would be really bad. If you read this Sara, or possibly one of your friends, please reply to this. Greg T.
Just want to send a very special thank you to the guy in the city hall parking lot who paid for my parking this morning. I didn't get your name, I wish I did but wanted to let you know that I greatly appreciated your act of kindness. I will be sure to pay it forward and be a blessing to someone else today. I didn't want today to go by without giving you recognition. So again sincerely from the bottom of my heart, thank you
Thank-you to the Canada Post Worker who purchased my coffee going through the drive-thru this morning at Jefferson and Queen Elizabeth. What a great way to start my day.🤓.
I was at the petsmart on Dougal last night ready to checkout my item when I got up to the counter and overheard the manager dealing with a not so nice customer. The customer was trying to get her to allow him to bring back an item he had purchased a very long time ago because it had broke. She calmly explained that you have 60 days to return something after purchase. The man did not take no for an answer and kept making up stories and being rude to her infront of everyone in the store. I just wanted to take a minute and tell that lady that she did a wonderful job at staying calm and patient with that man. I work with customers everyday and I know how hard it can be. You seem like a very nice lady and you deserve recognition! Thank you for all that you do for our pets at Petsmart.
To the amazing honest angel who found a coach purse at the Sprucewood winery down at the beach and returned it to the winery. I am so grateful to you and your beautiful honesty. Nothing was touched. You are wonderful. You have restored my faith in humanity. Thank you for making this world a better place!!!!!!
