Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the couple who bought almost $400.00 worth of toys at the Dollarama on University Ave today to donate to charity. THANK YOU! Because of you guys I'm sure many kids who may have gone without will have something to open Christmas morning. The gesture just made my heart smile and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Meaghan Grass - you have been spotted! With times being tough with Christmas around the corner you chose to help a young man in high school whom you witnessed get robbed of his school tablet. You tried to help but they still managed to take his tablet. You decided to take it upon yourself to go to the boys school to tell them what you had witnessed. The school, however, was only concerned about the well-being of their student. You found out some background info about him and decided you needed to help him. You and your brother not only bought him TWO winter jackets (so that he would have a choice), but you, your family, and your friends joined together and helped by giving him money, gift cards, and even a care package. With the money that was given, YOU are taking him to get winter boots and clothing. Meaghan, you are such a good person. You are so selfless, and i cant think of a person more selfless than you. Im sure you made that boy so happy and gave him a great (early) Christmas. Keep being an amazing person. :)
Thank you to Pat at the GM dealership
Service Garage at Forest Glade Drive. I drove in expecting to be there all day, but you changed my turn signal bulb and installed a new battery for me in less than 30 minutes. No more worries when I go out on these cold winter mornings. You guys rock!
Thanks for the friendly, speedy and amazing customer service!
Special thanks to the gentleman wearing a Santa hat who paid my parking for me today because I didn't have any change on me and assumed I could pay with a credit card. It was a small thing, but without your help I would've been late for an important appointment. Merry Christmas and God bless for your random act of kindness.
Yesterday when I had got to the mall to do some Christmas shopping with my friends, we had decided to stop by the food court to pick up a meal. As I approached New York Fries and placed my order, I was attempting to pay when my card was saying that it was declining. Not have shopped anywhere in close to a week with the card, I attempted again, only to realize that it declined again. My meal had already been made and was sitting on the counter, and the cashier was generous enough to let me take my meal. If it had not been for that, I would not have got to the bank to realize that there had been a problem with my card (which has now been fixed). Thank you so much to the lovely cashier, and I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you to the person in the black SUV with the license plate TMGORAN in the Tims drive thru at Manning and Tecumseh Rd this morning ....you paid for my coffee and muffin and you absolutely made the morning of this tired momma!!! Being up all night with a teething babe, a coffee was definitely the first thing on my list this morning!!
Your gesture put a huge smile on my face all day and a little hop in my step! Please be assured I will pay this forward hoping to make someone else's day also! Thank you so much!!
Was in the drive thru at Tim Hortons on Front Rd. in Lasalle around 8:10am with 2 kids in tow. I ordered 2 coffees (it was that kind of morning) and when I got to the window I was told the person in front of me paid for my order. Thank you so much, that totally made my day.
I paid it forward for the next person as well, I really hope it continued on.
Thank you very much!
During this busy time of year many of us are stuck in traffic, searching for a parking space & just wanting to get home. Today was one of those. While most were frustrated & losing patience at Costco, one smiling Man waved me on ahead of him. Seems like a small thing but it really lifted my spirits, Thank You & Merry Christmas Kind Sir
