Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I was in met emerge and a young single father came in with a one month old. I just want to say..good job and also just wondering if your baby boy ended up being ok.
Wasn't your average looking "singledad".. You had tattoos everywhere, including face tats..but boy could I feel the amount of love you had for your kids.
Today my son and I were having lunch at Mamo burger after our doctors appointment. The man that was sitting behind us paid for his bill and left. But then returned back in to ask if anyone owned an black Explorer. I didn't respond because I have a black edge . But he then pointed at my car so I told him that it was mine. He then told me I had a bulge in my tire that I didn't see. I had just came off the expressway and my son drives that expressway everyday to go to school. Today I'm very grateful for this man for coming back in to let me know . He is truly my guardian angel. Thank you so much xo😇
I had a flat tire that adhered to the wheel and had to be towed to have it removed to put on another tire. So hey; it is just after the holidays and I am strapped for cash. I was worried! But not as worried as Steve was when he saw the state of my vehicle, once CAA got me safely towed there.
I have to say that the reason I got towed to Steve's Auto Garage is because I was given a heads up that someone else had written about great treatment by Simon as well as Steve at the Garage, on Spotted in Windsor a couple weeks ago. Simon is the other mechanic there, and Michelle is the office co-ordinator, who was so kind when I first came in, and very helpful when I called before I even got there. Steve showed me why he was distressed...my tye rods on the two front wheels were dangerously loose and need replacing. Badly. Even though I couldn't afford to have them fixed until late in the month, and only then because Steve offered me a very, very reasonable quote for such a job, this didn't feel good to Steve. He decided that he will replace them tomorrow; trusting me to pay him when I get paid in over two weeks. I honestly am so grateful to Steve, Michelle, and Simon! And now I have found a garage to be my go-to garage for all my repairs and maintenance, since my previous mechanic passed away a few years back. It is hard when you don't know your way around cars and have limited funds, to properly take care of your car! It is so refreshing to encounter good people who are willing to trust and genuinely care about the people in their community! Thanks Steve's Auto Garage!!!

Tonight January 7th at about 10 p.m. I was driving home from work on Hwy #3 and as usual you never know want to expect on the drive. The road was clear then all of a sudden out of nowhere I drove into blizzard conditions I couldn't see in front of me and realized I was driving on the wrong side of the road. I just wanted to pull off to the side of the road till the snow stopped and could see so I could get home. Unfortunately my car didn't want to stop and slid off the side of the road into a small ditch. I tried and tried to get my car back up on to the road but couldn't. The snow slowed down and I watched car after car pass me by. Finally a car stopped and asked if I needed help, the gentleman got out of his car and explained to me what to do and maybe my car might get back up on to the road,he told me he would stay behind me to make sure everything was ok. It worked I got back on the road and started my drive back home. I waved out my window to you, I never got to tell you thank you. I want to thank you for pulling off the road and helping me it was greatly appreciated.
Thank you to the gentleman at the tmc pharmacy today at the Tecumseh location. I was at the clinic due to a bad ear infection, while waiting to see a doc my 9 year son asked if he could buy a chocolate bar at the pharmacy. I gave him money so he could, 5 mins went by and he was still over there so I got up to check on him. He was at the counter waiting to pay. I told him that I was next to go in the room to see the doc so to wait for me in the waiting room if I'm gone in or ask to come in my room. Another 5 mins went by and I still haven't got called in so I checked on him again. He was still waiting at the counter to pay. I was not feeling the greatest so I knew if I said something to the lady behind the counter things would get heated bc she was ignoring my son. Finally this gentleman spoke up for him and got the lady's attention by saying "excuse me this young man has been standing her for 20 mins waiting to buy candy, can you please cash him out". My son's face just lit up and he was so happy you helped him out. He wouldn't stop talking about how you helped him out. Thank you so much. You made my sons day. Glad to know there is still great people out there :)
I honestly could have hugged you! You were at the Walmart on Tecumseh at around 1:30pm. You were walking by me and you stopped to tell me how nice my hair looked! I know it may not be much to a lot of people, but to me it meant a lot! I've been being hard on myself lately and I really needed to hear that! You are so kind. It's nice to have a stranger tell you something like that. In a world where everyone is in competition with everyone else, I was a little surprised! You were just so sweet and it was so nice of you! Thank you for picking me up today and giving me a little bit of confidence. You're an angel!
Thank you thank you thank you!!
