Angel in White

We had a birthday party for my son at Zap Zone on Lauzon Rd. on Saturday Feb. 25th. You saw my husband come in with a birthday cake and came up to him asking him if we were having a party. When he said yes you gave him a voucher for a discount off of a party. You were not a worker there. He thanked you and came into the room to show me. He wanted to find you again and give you half of what the voucher was worth but kids started coming in and we got distracted. I thought what a thoughtful gesture. What you don't know is that two days before I lost a very good friend to cancer. It took all I had to put on a smile and give my son the happy day he deserved. She would have wanted me to do that. It was a tough day but you showed me how there is still good in this world. She was so giving and caring and spent many birthdays with us. I felt like she brought your kindness to us. So thank you for that. For making my day and helping bring a smile to my face. She asked for donations to be made to hospice in her name. I am going to add the amount you gave us to our donation. So not only did you give to us but you are giving to her memory as well. Thank you lady in white with a little girl with you. That's the only description my husband had. You have been spotted. You made my day brighter and gave me faith that there are good, generous, caring people out there even though the world had lost one of the best.

Thanks for the coffee!

To the man in the black truck at the Walker Rd. and Wyandotte Tim Hortons.

Thank you for paying for my coffee! I had such an awful night and a very difficult morning and your kindness is so greatly appreciated. I honked to you at the lights and tried to thank you but I think you may have thought I was honking at you to go lol!

Thank you again. ❤

Thanks to a good Samaritan.

My son recently lost his wallet, however did not realize he had lost it. He goes back and forth between my house and his dad's so he assumed he had just left it at hid dad's place. Last night his dad called to tell him that someone had just dropped off my sons wallet that he had found. He obviously was able to see the address on his drivers license. I am impressed with the kindness and honestly of this person. He didn't get your name but thank you so much ! You have saved my son the hassle of renewing all of his identification. Thank you for taking the time out to return it. You have been spotted.

Respect goes a long way

While driving home today (Saturday Feb25) I came to the intersection of Banwell and E.C. Row. A funeral procession had just begun on their green light.
When the light changed to red nobody moved but allowed the rest of the procession to proceed through not just one but two red lights.
Not one person honked out of impatience, everyone going every direction just waited patiently, respectfully.
So to all of you who were at that intersection today, because respectable human beings, you've been spotted.

Amazing Bus Driver!

Today at 9:15 am, I was on the 1C headed westbound at Tecumseh and Ouellette when a man in a wheelchair started to fall off the sidewalk. Our bus driver immediately stopped and ran off the bus to aid the man and right his wheelchair for him. She not only got his wheelchair to a safe spot on the sidewalk but made sure he was able to continue on bringing his dog out before returning to the bus. This simple act of caring and kindness melted my heart. You Mrs. Bus driver have been spotted.

Thank you emergency services!

From the calm & thorough 911 dispatcher to the two police officers and two paramedics who arrived, your caring, professional and thorough manners in helping support a student in distress helped make a stressful situation more bearable for all. I did not catch your names, but you were all wonderful and I am thankful for having such valuable human resources in our community!

Wonderful Service

Last Thursday my family went out for Valentine's Day dinner. We have a 2 year old and a newborn so we were avoiding the crowds. We went to our favourite spot, East Side Mario's. We enjoy eating here and typically have decent service while we are here. Tonight we were greeted by our server before we had even gotten settled (which takes a bit with 2 kids). She offered to get our drinks while we got settled. She was back in a flash. We had superior service for our entire meal. We didn't have to wait for bread or salad (which is important when the 2 year old wants to eat!) our drinks were never empty and she sprinted around with a smile on her face. I even caught my 2 year old flirting with her as she tended to another table. Now I have never worked as a waitress but I can imagine that it isn't the best of jobs. People can be rude and it would be hard to be as happy as our waitress was tonight, clearly she is a people person. Even my husband who doesn't usually say much about service said how wonderfully we were treated tonight. I hope that this girl's boss recognizes what a spectacular employee he has. She deserves a raise!

Jenna R. You have a bright future ahead of you and you have been spotted!!
